I know! Add in some Zetsubou Sayonara Sensei intermissions with something way closer to the animation style for this trailer to go on top and it'd be great. VS.Mode2 would also work great as an OP, as Entryhazard said. We'll almost have a full season worth of seasons!
Hopefully the collaboration with Ika Musume sparks more stuff, I dunno. It's way unlikely, but it'd be so amazing. Go deep into the lore too, hhhngg

That was a really cool trailer.

Pretty sure it's all just gibberish, nothing in the game sounds like Japanese to me.
The only bit of gibberish which sounds like an actual word is one line by the male inklings which sounds like a "Yes!"
Whilst I absolutely love Splatoon, its on of the most unique exciting new IPs I have seen and its inkcredibly addictive
it is going to rip my family apart.

That would be great. As much as I'd want a series in this illustration style, it will never happen due to how expensive it would be. But yeah eyecatches and stuff would be great.
