Splinter Cell 4 trailer!!!

Yep, that drop of water HAS to be CG. I like the hint of a futuristic SC4. Maybe it'll finally be interesting? ;P
Started out dark, we see same. Move in close on the skin looked real good, then the sweat drop. But that just screamed CG on the phycis of it and such. And after that it was just Sam Fisher getting his ass kicked. So I mean, imnpressive? I still don't know. The skin was certainly, and a nice face but we've seen that in 2k6 and MGS4. It's a teaser to the fullest.

I do have to say though, considering how impressive the current gen Splinter Cells look, why would anybody be shocked that is how good the game will look?

It looks like 3 different people in the trailer.
You have a young Sam(?) then what appears to be some Vin-Diesel-esque guy wearing a visor, then towards the end you have someone with splinter cell headgear that's bald?

To all the 360 haters...
The movie is obviously dark.... from the looks of it, Sam has met a new enemy that, I'm going to take a stab and say is hunting him. Sam got a pretty mean headbutt from that drone who he tried to attack and it looks like same was thrown to the side as if the guy he attacked thought he had finished him off.
Then you hear the nightvision goggles come to life.... and the drone realizes... Sam isn't dead.
Honesty real-time or not... CG or bullshit, the game is going to be KILLER.

It appears to be desperation to me, but X05 still has some days to go, and I'll reserve judgement until then. Microsoft seems to be having a decent showing and XBox 360 fans should enjoy these days in the sun. It's well deserved by Microsoft. Carry on, with the MGS4 AM DEAD sentiment.

Unless MGS4 changes the camera view and gameplay perspective, I'll prefer Splinter Cell easily. The graphics on both will be a push I'm sure... the presentation will go to MGS4 of course, but the all important gameplay will HEAVILY reside with SC for me. Konami needs to learn that their viewpoint is outdated for this type of game. Not being able to see more than a few feet around you when moving is just fucking stupid. I understand why they had to do this on the 16 bit Playstation 1, for technical reasons, but they need to see the light already.Lakitu said:

The more I look at the trailer.. Sam comes in, fights with the merc, merc owns sam... then Merc about to get owned by Player 2.

With MGS 4 out next year... it'll be a good looking game. If the game plays the same, then skip. I played through 1 & 2, never bothered with 3 (due to selling of my PS2) and honestly, 4 looks intriguing, but not a system seller. As far as eating crow. It will, and so will MGS3:S (you will be able to switch between the behind the character usercontrollable camera and an oldschool camera) Both camps celebrate!
PS1 was 32bit btw.
