No you're not in the wrong at all, but they had a perfectly justifyable reason to be banned and I can't believe people are sticking up for them, MGS fans resorted to normal criticism, see Dark10x's posts etc and stated their opinions whilst Splinter Cell fans and Xbox fans resorted to something else entirely, just view their responses, childish isn't it?

Also, these fools have been trolling MGS for God knows how long, it's about time they paid the price.
 
I think it's safe to say that it's okay to troll SC and not MGS. I remember being banned in the SC4 trailer thread for suggesting that SC is better than MGS. That's my personal belief but nonetheless I said that in response to the stealth trolling in the thread. Somehow the SC trolls got away with it... Go figure.

That's bullshit, if an MGS fan trolled as bad SC fans did then they would be banned no doubt, stop making stupid assumptions and let the admins do their job.

If you can show me a ban worthy post in this thread regarding criticism on SC from an MGS fan then I'll shut my mouth, but until then you're completely wrong.

This thread is huge, I'm sure there is an MGS fan being stupid, but why don't you point that out and justify their ban? Rather than sit there complaining.

I'm not stopping the admins from doing anything. I'm just helping Rhindle out by pointing out what I THINK is the policy. If someone said "MGS gameplay is gay x 100000000 but the cutscenes are farging alsome" I THINK they would be banned.

SC single player is ghey ? WTF ? Does that mean i am gay ? I happened to enjoy it immensely and thought it captured stealth much better than MGS2 and 3 did.

Because this airframe was assumption at first that flew more over the distance, it was supposed to finish without putting the texture (design on the surface) on the model.

The stage group caught up by details of resolution (1920×1080) of the screen as for the texture this time and did not catch up how much resolution even though raised not normality but an empty texture of the scene opening ..this... Mineshi started making the trial and error many times repeatedly.

Are we actually comparing eight minutes of footage to a couple of concept renders now? I think I'll wait to start making comparisons until I get to see something that is actually comparable.

Both franchises are known for throwing around some impressive graphics, Metal Gear for the animation and Splinter Cell for the lighting (huge generalizations here). I don't doubt that both games will be jaw dropping.

In an attempt to bring this thread somewhat back on track, I think the dual/conflicting objectives aspect sounds brilliant. This game looks like it could out-24 24 the Game when it comes to those "moral" set-pieces.

I like the idea that they are giving Sam Fisher an actual story / conflict in this one. It's what the SC series has been missing.

edit: and yes it really does have a 24 vibe to it. i like it. :D

I would hope it will be possible to source gear on location because of the nature of the game, picking up incapacitated enemy weapons or finding armouries etc.
