The laser tracks movement in the controller and lets players actively aim in first-person shooters. The laser system proved very inconsistent in hands-on tests
Thats where Nintendo will always win.

Why is there a second analog stick on the main controller beside the X[]O/\ buttons? That cannot be comfortable.

Because it's hard to use dual analogs if it was on 1 part of the controller?

That's wrong. Nintendo comes up with something relatively fresh and these guys create a butchered version of it. @_@

That has happened for quite a while within the gaming industry.

I seriously doubt these guys went from looking at Nintendo's controller to having a workable copycat using different tech in 3 months.

People who believe all that nonsense about how the game industry's in a downward spiral and the only thing that can save it is the Nintendo Wonder Wand ought to be happy, though. It seems to signal that the concept is catching on outside of Nintendo, which would be a good thing, right? So who cares if it's not pretty - it's just the first stage, anyway.

Exactly, I can't believe people believe they came up with this in the relatively short time AFTER the big Revolution reveal.

From the look of it, I'd say that's exactly what happened ;)

the design doesn't look great, but the question is if Nintendo showed their controller too early. I am almost thinking that now.

This is actually quite easily lawsuit material. Not that Nintendo will mind though. It looks bulky and heavy. Waste of effort from the designer.

Not if RevCon technology >>>>> third party technology

You're right. These guys went from looking at Nintendo's controller to having a piss-poor, barely functional "copycat" using NES technology in 3 months

:lol maybe Nintendo shouldn't have revealed the controller after all

That thing looks horrible. It looks more like a cheap plastic toy. The Rev controller looks a lot sexier.
