Holly crap! This movie was terrible. Both Harley and J were impressively unfunny with flat jokes and strange meandering characterization. That soldier guy really felt like a character out of a Calladooty game. Everyone was was forgettable and the pacing of the movie was horrible. It felt like something produced, written, directed, and acted by grade shool kids. Complete with a slogfest of on the nose narrated exposition on every character's back story.

Finally watched this... um it's alright but my expectations were low. I'm sure everyone would disagree but I wish this went full Ayer like "Fury". They need to quit chasing Marvel and just let each director do their own thing. It did have Will Smith being Will Smith and that is always fun to watch.
Deadpool being a success with an r rating and no China combined with the fact they tried to appease China but China still banned it makes me hope WB tell Ayer to go full retard.
Edit: I find it weird people were accusing the film of being misoginistic because Harley was punched after she played dead and tried to stab Batman.

Late to the party and doubtful I have anything original to bitch about but...
I watched it and I wasn't prepared for the amount of dumb. I'm amazed so much money is spent on these productions and nobody seems to read the script or think critically about the characters or plot.
Amanda Waller thinks this team could take out Superman? The guy who creates fire? Or the one who can shoot guns? Or the girl with a baseball bat? Why is Harley even in this? Do they teach martial arts in Med school? Or that guy that can climb anything? Holy crap. This is the dumbest setup for a super team.
We're the bad guys. Let's remind the audience 5 times without actually showing were bad guys.
Sky beam and disposable armies. It's a superhero movie.
In the end they didn't really need any of these people. None of their skills or abilities were any threat to the bad guys except Diablo.
Ugh. I'm embarrassed for everyone that was involved in this movie.

Yeah also late to the party on this. Holy crap, how do people have careers writing movies that are able to write this turd? It felt like a five year old going "and then this happens, and then theres a crocodile, and then this happened! and then this happened, oh and that thing that happened is this thing happening and oh yeah this guy shoots things!" etc etc.
The only positive is I liked the look of it more than I thought I would, even if it was too 'in your face' for its own good.

It was an okay movie. I just can't get into these recent DC movies (starting with MoS). They're so drab and lack passion.
Smith, Robbie, Leto were fine. Davis was meh. Delevingne was bad (mouthing lines).
The story was predictable. SFX were bad.
I didnt care for Killer Croc, fake Tom Hardy or rope guy. The big baddie was awful.
With three disappointing DC movies, I have a feeling I'm not going to like JL or WW.
