Sports question for US GAF

My state doesn't have any major professional sports teams, so for some of these I follow the closest team to Honolulu

NFL - San Francisco 49ers. My love for this team is waayyyy bigger than any other. Madrid is 2nd.

Other Football - Real Madrid and I guess if I had to pick an MLS team it'd be Toronto FC for the same reasons as the Jays.

NBA - Sacramento Kings (Started watching basketball recently...I really dont wan't to be on the Warriors bandwagon plus I don't like the blue and yellow.)

MLB - Toronto Blue Jays (I have family there, been there a few times and I love the city)

Ravens and Orioles fan here. We have neither a basketball or hockey team so I'm not invested at all in those leagues. However I am a fan of the expected disappointment that is Arsenal.

Football: C̶h̶a̶r̶g̶e̶r̶s̶ Packers
Soccer: Mexico's team. Only ever watch soccer during the world cup.

Football: Mizzou Tigers (NCAA) and Kansas City Chiefs (NFL)

Baseball (my favorite sport): St. Louis Cardinals

Hockey: St. Louis Blues

Basketball: Mizzou Tigers (NCAA). Don't care about NBA

Soccer: Sporting Kansas City.

Gonna be biased and say Busch III (St. Louis Cardinals) is my favorite sports venue. Sporting Park in KC is also fantastic - great atmosphere. A single trip there has converted some non-Soccer fans I've known .

NFL - Seattle Seahawks

MLB - Seattle Mariners

NCAA football - Washington Huskies

NBA - I like basketball a lot but haven't followed/rooted for a team since the Sonics were murdered.

I used to go to Tacoma Sabercats (which were in some sort of minor league hockey league) games when I was a kid which was good fun. Also saw the Seattle Thunderbirds a few times.

I don't watch soccer because I'm only interested in good sports.

Same.

What the fuck is soccer anyways?

I heard we are like defending champs or some shit?

Football - Pittsburgh Steelers

Baseball - Cincinnati Reds / Kansas City Royals

Hockey - Columbus Blue Jackets / Toronto Maple Leafs

Basketball - Cleveland Cavs

Soccer - Sporting Kansas City

I used to be a huge sports junkie but now all I watch is the NFL and Dota 2 tourneys.

NCAA football - No tournament. Quit watching a decade and a half ago.
NCAA basketball - games became unwatchable when players started leaving to the NBA as highschoolers and freshmen.
NBA - Too many young players from highschool and the NCAA. Individual defense and basics became terrible. Refs are either garbage or they are getting paid off. Not sure which would be worse. Went from my 2nd favorite sport to completely unwatchable.
Hockey - Fun to watch in person but has never been able to grab me as a fan
Baseball - As many times as I've tried to watch baseball the game is just too boring. I've only been able to watch a single game from beginning to end in my entire life. That must have been the most exciting game in baseball history if I made it through the whole thing.

I don't really pay attention to sports anymore but when I was a kid my favorite teams were the Eagles (football), White Sox (baseball), Spurs (basketball), and Devils (hockey).

I used to think that I don't like sports at all whatsoever, but I saw a Blues vs Blackhawks game on TV in January and it was really cool so there's that.

In order of personal importance:

Soccer: Toronto FC. I've got season tickets, it's my phone background, on my keys, etc. They're very much my only sporting passion. I've played the sport since I was a kid, I've followed TFC since their inception and will probably wind up with a TFC-related tattoo one of these days. BMO Field is also my favourite stadium, for obvious reasons, and there are some very wonderful moments that have happened there recently, some I'll never forget.

But I'll also just watch any soccer game, it's far and away the only sport I love. I mean, I recently got up at 3am to watch the A-League Grand Final. I have next to no personal connection to the Australian league, but I follow it and it was a fun match.

Hockey: Toronto Maple Leafs. Used to be way more into hockey, these days I'll watch a few Leafs games and then the more important playoff games. There's far too much grabbing and too many stoppages for me to properly enjoy watching.

Baseball: Detroit Tigers. Here's where it gets weird. I grew up in Windsor, and haaaaaate the Red Wings, but follow the Tigers and don't care about the Blue Jays. Probably has something to do with how I could actually go to Tigers games easily living in Windsor.

Otherwise, I don't watch much NFL but will quietly pull for the Lions and the Michigan Wolverines, and I usually forget that the NBA exists, but on the off chance there's no obscure soccer to watch (I'll watch the J2 League, Japan's second division), I'll watch Golden State just to be in awe.

Same.

What the fuck is soccer anyways?

I heard we are like defending champs or some shit?

:( :( :(

Football - More of a college guy, so the Sooners. NFL I follow the Cowboys.
Basketball - OKC Thunder, though I still have a soft spot for the Spurs.
Hockey - I watch the finals on occasion if they decide to show them....
Baseball - Not a huge fan, but I go between the "local" teams of Royals, Rangers, or Cards.

From Oklahoma if you couldn't tell.

Edit:
Favorite venue is the Cotton Bowl during the Red River Shootout.

Football - New York Giants. Usually watch SNF and MNF.

Basketball - Whatever is on TNT, and hopefully one day the Nets will be watchable...
Really enjoy watching the Warriors and Spurs whenever they're on.

Hockey - New Jersey Devils

Baseball - New York Mets

I've been to the following venues: old Giants Stadium and Metlife, New Yankees stadium, Prudential, Continental Airlines Arena/Izod Center (r.i.p), and Arthur Ashe stadium for some US Open action. Had a great time at each place.

NFL - Atlanta Fucking Failures; been supporting these assholes for 20 fucking years.

NCAAF - Georgia, my alma mater. Don't get in to college ball as much though.

MLS - Atlanta United; so glad there's finally a local professional club to watch. Couldn't get in to any other teams outside of the national team before.

Don't care about the others.

Always enjoyed going to the Ga Dome. Better atmosphere than Sanford Stadium imo. Bulldog crowds are white, old boring people and the student section is too busy waving their stupid pom poms.

Football - Packers/ Badgers

Baseball - Cubs, because of vicinity mostly.

Hockey - Never watched it before

Basketball - No clue

Soccer - I can't even tell you the name of the local team.

Oakland Raiders
LA Dodgers
LA Kings
Utah Jazz
LA Galaxy/US Soccer

Raiders above all but everything else is tied just a notch below

football - Florida St,, Utah St, and whoever is playing against the Oregon ducks. No Fun League sucks, WAY too boring.

baseball - Florida St. Finding new paths to CWS fail year after year, but I still love them.

basketball - Duke blue devils. Used to live in NC. Duke fans are comfortable in their self-righteousness and superiority and wear it on their sleeves. UNC fans are the same but since they are from the south and not new jersey they try to be civilized about it, which is a way bigger turn off.

soccer- Sounders? I avoid going to the other side of lake washington as much as possible, so I'd never see them in person.

hockey: Canucks, but only casually.

I only pay attention to the professional teams. College doesn't mean anything to me. The only sport I pay attention to is the NFL, in which I root for the Dallas Cowboys.

Football - BYU
Don't be hating
, or SF 49'ers.
Baseball - Not a fan.
Hockey - Can take it or leave it, but I'll go to a game Utah Grizzlies game once about every 10 years. Also went to a Olympic game (Ukraine v Sweden) when the 2002 Winter Olympics were in town.
Basketball - Utah Jazz.
Soccer -
LOL

My real jam is racing. Love watching IMSA races or FIA when I can. INDY or Nascar on street courses is fun to.

Also have visited AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX and Metlife Stadium in NJ but yet to see a game tho.

Both. Pittsburgh Steelers and Georgia Bulldogs

Atlanta Braves

Fuck Bettman. But I like watching hockey.

Basketball is boring.

Atlanta United and West Ham

Second favorite Sport: Hockey

San Jose Sharks (Patty, I miss you already 😭)

Basketball: Super team FTW

Golden State Warriors (Soooooo good.)

Football: We have 5 Super Bowl wins.... 😐

San Francisco 49ers (God, help me)

AT&T Park is one of the beautiful stadiums ever created. I love watching games there soooo much.

The Shark Tank is so much fun to go to. It really is an awesome place to watch a games. It's also conveniently close to my house and the atmosphere and crowd are always electric.

NFL: Shit sport
NBA: Bulls
MLB: KC Royals
Hockey: meh, i like it more during the olympics
Football: Real Madrid

In my opinion, College Football is the best form of Football (more exciting in every angle down to the television presence), while NBA is the best way to watch basketball (skill gap seems huge compared to football, here again television presentation is superior). That's just my opinion anyways.

I'm a Gamecocks and Pelicans fan.

Edit: Hockey is cool but I only watch my ECHL team.

#1 is College Football. Ohio State and Toledo. Grew up my whole life as a OSU fan and went to college at UT. I get up every Saturday to watch gameday and then watch games all day. Saturday's are for football come the fall. Not really an NFL fan but will watch games just not as much as college.

Hockey - Detroit Red Wings

Baseball/Basketball/NFL - Already mentioned NFL but being originally from Northern Ohio I'm a Cleveland sports guy as bad/good as it's been. Don't get to visit Cleveland and since I live in Michigan now I try to Tigers games when the Indians are in town.

Living in Metro Detroit now I'll follow area sports and listen sports talk radio but that's about it. Might try to go to a lions game this year.

In order:

Football: Your world champion New England Patriots

Baseball: Boston Red Sox

Hockey: Boston Bruins

Basketball: Boston Celtics

A toss up between Fenway and Gillette to see a game. Fenway is just like a cathedral of baseball. Gillette is awesome. Gillette is so much nicer than the old Foxboro Stadium.

I like you.

NFL: New England Patriots

MLB: Boston RedSox

NHL: Boston Bruins

NBA: Boston Celtics

Spoiled rotten the last 15 years. I think this is the year for 19-0 too.

Football - Oddly, I don't really have a favorite NFL team. I like the sport generally but can't stand what would be my local team (Washington Redskins) nor can I stand the Dallas Cowboys thanks to a lot of military transplant Cowboy fans in the area. I watch the games on TV just to have something to watch on Sundays in the fall and winter. Likewise, I didn't go to a school with an NCAA team so I don't have one I follow but I find I enjoy watching Saturday football more than Sunday football.

Baseball - Major League, Washington Nationals. Watch on local TV because it's too far of a drive just to go to the stadium. Plus I'm not rich enough. Minor League: Norfolk Tides. Been to Harbor Park several times, really like the place.

Hockey - Sorry, not a hockey fan. Tried to be, just can't get into it. Only time I really can get interested is during international competitions.

Basketball - Prefer NBA because NCAA's regular season is meaningless and it's pointless to learn who's playing at the college level because all the good ones are one-and-done's to the NBA. Favorite team: Washington Wizards. Usually sucks being a Wizards fan but lately they've been a very good team to watch, even though the conference as a whole is weak.

Soccer - MLS. You can probably guess. DC United. Watch on TV when I can, stupid broadcast agreements are completely screwed up. Local affiliate that is supposed to show games can just preempt them at will. Haven't been to see them live yet but if they do manage to get their new pitch completed in time for the 2018 season, I'm planning on heading up and making a weekend of it - DC United one day, Washington Nationals the other.

NFL - New York Giants
NCAAF - I tend to watch whatever prime time or Bowl game is on. My sister is a big Notre Dame fan though.

MLB - New York Yankees
NHL - New Jersey Devils

NBA - I've often called myself a Bulls fan over the years but I really just watch during the playoffs.
NCAAB - Some season games but mostly March Madness

I tend to watch NFL and MLB the most. I've never been to away games but of the venues of my teams I like The Rock the most (or Prudential Center) for the Devils.

Favorite sport by far is the NBA. My favorite team is the Denver Nuggets.

Next favorite sport is tennis. Root for Nadal and Muguruza.

A distant third is the NFL. Used to love the league but the concussions and domestic violence problems have soured me on it. My team is the Steelers.

Baseball is my least favorite. My team is the New York Mets, who are possibly my favorite team across sports.

I don't follow hockey. Might try to get into it.

The only sport I harbor any fucks for is baseball. I despise college sports. Living in a Big 10 city really sucks in that respect.

Football - Nope (used to be a Packers fan before I stopped liking the sport)
Baseball - Brewers!
Hockey - Nope
Basketball - I have a tiny soft spot for the Bucks, but I really don't care, honestly.
Soccer - Nope

I've only been to Milwaukee County Stadium to see a game. So it kinda wins by default, even though it was destroyed and replaced 16 years ago by a (theoretically) better stadium I've never set foot in.

But since I'm a cord cutter, and have been for years and years, I don't watch sports anymore. Working nights sucks all the fun out of following sports anyway. When I get up, the games are already over.

Hockey: Penguins - Only sport I really care about. Grew up playing.
Football: Steelers - I usually say that I'm a Steeler fan but not an NFL fan. Don't give a shit about anything happening outside our division.

Pitt's football team is the definition of mediocre but they always have a few really good players so I follow them pretty regularly.

I jumped on the Pirates bandwagon a few years ago when they had a decent team but that was obviously going to be short lived.

lol NBA

Football: My Bengals
MLS: Columbus Crew
Baseball: The Reds
Basketball: Cavs
Hockey: Preds(I moved to Nashville last summer so I adopted them as my hockey team because of it plus the BJ are meh imo)
College: University of Louisville Cards
Good at everything so that's the school I watch
Also Xavier/UC Basketball and Soccer

Basketball: Rockets. I dont really follow anything else.

I used to follow the Texans for the NFL, but.... if you're a Texans fan you probably would get how that got a little grating after a while.

Eagles
Sixers
Phillies
Flyers

Bless em all

As far as College goes I don't really have a Football team but I do enjoy watching the games anyway. For March Madness I like to see the local schools do well.

Not a Team Sport But I love Boxing very much.

Baseball - New York Mets
Hockey - New York Rangers
Football - Arizona Cardinals
Basketball - No team I just watch all the team's lose against the Cavs and the Warriors

Favorite Sport: Baseball

Team: Chicago Cubs. I grew up watching on WGN and wanting to be Ryne Sanberg

NFL: Minnesota Vikings after I interned for them. Grew up a Bears fan but always more because of proximity.

NCAA: Wisconsin Badgers for football and Illinois for Basketball

NBA: Don't follow, grew up during Jordan era

NHL: Don't follow but rest of family loves Blackhawks

MLS: Don't follow but been to one Chicago Fire game and it was a lot of fun
Soccer: German National Team. I was in Germany during the 2006 World Cup and it was amazing. Didn't hurt that I was in love with a German girl.

NASCAR: Dale Earnhardt growing up/Dale Jr. now but have lost most interest in sport with all the new rules

Favorite Stadiums: Wrigley Field and Miller Park, Lambeau Field, Chicagoland Speedway (bad racing but great views and amenitites) and Indianapolis Motor Speedway ( history there is awesome, terrible place to watch a race)

Football - NFL - Tennessee Titans. Been to LP Field and saw them lose badly to the Chargers. Good times.

Baseball - MLB - Yankees. Been to Yankee Stadium (the new one) and saw them lose badly to the Texas Rangers. Good times.

Hockey - Nope. Although I have seen it in the UK once (Manchester Storm vs Cardiff Devils). Boring times.

Basketball - Pointless sport, annoyingly squeaky shoes. Sad times.

Soccer (Football) - Premiership - Man United. Seen them more times at Old Trafford than I can count. Won every time ooooh yeah. Good times.

kinda losing interest in football but will usually still watch it. would probably follow an MLS team if there was one here but the current existing Riverhounds(USL) are just kinda hard to follow

I've been to all the current Pittsburgh stadiums + Three Rivers Stadium and the Civic Arena. PNC Park is the best out of them imo
