If there's one character that changes the most from manga to anime, it's probably Mugi, but it's mostly because of that and other little weird quirks she has like seemingly be able to read Azusa's mind.
That instance is changed in the anime to having Azusa not knowing she was voicing her thoughts.
I should do the same.
Well, I can't really say it's a tradition yet, considering it's only been one year since I started it. It was suggested in the K-ON! thread is why I started, and I'd like to make it a tradition.

It was fun .. the later episode were much better than the starters eps ..It actually had a plot and a theme besides the "ganbaranai"
It's worth a watch.

Isn't anime all about doing things that are forbidden in the most idealized situation? lol.

I thought it works well when its like the students last year in school, though I guess in all the onees I have its the student making the first move and they do avoid typical public places.
Have you not read any thread in OT about male student - female teacher relationships?

It's not even just CCS, Maison Ikkoku features it as well.
Ah, I should have said "and then compare it to any OT thread about female student - male teacher". Except don't do that, because the stupidity will melt your brain.
I can think of at least two male teachers from my high school who married female students immediately after they graduated. I suppose that, at least around here, there's no social disapproval until you're caught doing something explicitly illegal!

It's the same reason we have stories of rival gang/family members falling in love, brother sister love and such. It's the concept of forbidden love, which obviously would pretty much never turn out that way in the real world.

I watch a lot of shoujo but I don't recall any where the female student likes a teacher.

Rumiko managed to side-step it being distasteful with Maison Ikkoku by never actually saying much about Soichiro, including his age. And if we play into the parallels presented by Godai, we can assume they were of pretty similar age.

I really don't see what this show is, the Tiger and Bunny angle gets dropped instantly, while the characters have their own thing, none of them have enough of a hook to keep interest, their hijinks is boring to watch and my interest was at zero when mecha's doing mecha-y action was happening that I stopped giving a crap by the time the cliffhanger happened at the end.

Of course, long after directing Cardcaptor Sakura Morio Asaka would go on to direct Gunslinger Girl which is an entire series about little girls who love their handlers. It seems fair to say that he has a lot of experience in handling this kind of material deftly.

I know but there is a side history:
"There is But One Ultimate Way" Side Story that takes place after the Alicization arc which will not be completed until around volume 15.
Its a Harem end for the series, but Kawahara Reki confirmed on his twitter that this side story is not canon.

I wish I could watch School Days, but I assume being majorly spoiled would make the show less worth it.
Depends to what degree you've been spoiled.
If it's just the end, then it's worth it just to see how the events unfolded.
Maybe my math is off a little bit.
