Speaking of sakura, I find myself watching Aiura purely to check that the requisite levels of sakura petals are there, as in any Ryosuke Nakamura show.
They are.
The second ep is ruined somewhat in Crunchyroll's version by the most boring and unfunny translation of terrible puns I've read in a while. The Ayacondoru/merikondoru pun is deliberately awful, but the Crunchyroll translator's rendering of the line isn't even worthy of an eye-roll - it's just baffling. And there has to be some way of making the "Kanakana... ka na?" line work in English.
I guess it's an okay way to pass 90 seconds of time, and it's got a lovely aesthetic for a 4-koma show. I'm not quite sure why such a thing exists, though.
