The Unlimited - Hyobu Kyosuke 1

Opening: Really wasn't expecting that kind of Op. Pretty average honestly.
Ending: Didn't care for it.

So powerful Esper willing gets caught to rescue a young girl, meets a undercover prisoner with some freaky eye powers along the way, and bust out of jail with them in tow to meet with his other subordinates.

See, I understood that, what I don't really like is that they didn't even bother to give out a brief backstory about some of the other details (The hell is P.A.N.D.R.A?) that really dampened my view on this episode.

Kyosuke is a confident smart ass, but can really back up anything he says with his powers. Seems like he'll provided some good retorts in the series. I like Andy (Is that really his name?) and I'm curious about how his interaction is going to be with Kyosuke and co after that last scene. Yugiri is adorable, I kinda want to pet her on the head for some reason. There were also some other characters who appeared at the end. Just gonna go out on a limb and say that the blue haired woman I'll probably end up liking the most. Oh and a talking flying squirrel(?) that'll probably annoy me along the way.

Man, I've had no desire to watch any anime at all lately. Its messing me up pretty good with a backlog forming now... not to mention half the titles I don't know if I will continue (Date a Live, HenNeko, Gargantia).

...Before anybody asks, I've already seen School Days.

Just to get you up to speed, PANDRA is a terrorist organization whose ultimate goal is the extermination of "normals" by espers. In spite of how The Unlimited tends to depict Kyousuke, he's unequivocally evil in Zettai Karen Children.

I don't want to say too much, but all of the minor characters remain just that--minor. It's essentially The Kyousuke and Andy Show, so don't expect anything substantial out of Momotarou (the squirrel) and blue-hair-woman (who had so little presence that I still didn't know what her name was at the end of the series.)

When in doubt, it's always a good idea to go back to a title you already watch and liked.

Why couldn't they just explain that little tidbit when he was getting out of the helicopter???

And Kyousuke's a villain? That just made things much more interesting to me.

Sucks about the other characters though.

If it's any consolation you'll get your Yugiri fix eventually. Also, the bulk of the PANDRA infodump is the next episode.

This is fun. That last line was so ridiculous in a Madoka-like manner that I had a disgusted look on my face. The show is bonkers though. This might be the Code Geass sequel I've wanted for years now.

DEVIL SURVIVOR 2 THE ANIMATION Episode 3 – Monday of Upheaval - II
tumblr_mlh73sEavI1qbxqfpo1_500.png

The character I was so hyped to see finally having extensive screentime was so worth it. Keita truly is one of the best characters and easily my favorite of the other ones. I still like Hibiki/Daichi alot though and Hotsuin is cool too oh and as always The Anguished One too, but Keita's personality and design is really wonderful and splendid. Best scene was when Hibiki thanked him, quite memorable. (Dachi's moments were great).

The music here is really good especially the Opening theme and then the pieces used in the episode, such as the huge battle was actually really well done, making it truly feel intense.
And even at the climax quite a despair there with everything going down.

Unfortunately I do have to question the anime writing and their competency in trying to tell an actually good story here as they made crucial and critical mistakes that have ultimately tarnished and marred the quality of story, making it slightly difficult to enjoy.
I wasnt just expecting this in the story called "Devil "Survivor"". I think the episode would have been far better if they had, still gone through the fake defeat and collapse of the firewall, but to at least have still had everyone living and such, then it wouldnt be a total loss. But a total loss and death, absolutely not. Thats just really bad and ungood writing. Of the characters available why did it have to be Keita. Why not Nitta, is not like she even did anything and no one even knows here name, look at the performance in the episode, she did nothing at all of significance and just got in the way. Keita ought to have survived instead of being a martyr, but at least he did something memorable and will forever live in my books, happily, with Hibiki. If Daichi dies...I just dont even want to imagine it.

Cyberwarefare as presented here was vastly more interesting than in Bodacious Space Pirates. Hopefully the movie takes inspiration from this episode.

Been working my way through Bakemonogatari

Watched Tsubasa Cat last night.

Just what is it about catgirls, that is attractive? Is it purely their flirty nature as normally depicted? Or does me being a cat person make me predisposed to liking catgirls. I've certainly never thought humanoid dogs were ever cool. Not that I hate dogs, just that normally they are pretty meh.

Again another interesting story. And did not expect a date episode in the middle of it like that. Which I liked. And I must say I like Hitagi, from the outside at least. Don't think I could handle dating her myself.

catgirls are amazing.
cute, slinky, occasionally sexy and ALWAYS fun. One of mankinds greatest creations.

Yes filler based on some events from part one are always really fun. It reminded me of why I liked all those episode back then, Naruto on different teams was always fun, so going on Shikamaru, Choji, and Ino's for this mission was great. Food eating contest for the whole episode was hilarious. By the time it was over I had forgot that there was still plot to resolve, so cant wait to see how that goes down on next week.

Oh all my favorite songs from part one played, excellent.

Well, I can say with certainty now that I am watching the censored version, and honestly, I think I'm happy about that.

So...that centipede monster that appears at the end of ep.5
ends up eating Nene's head. So...she's dead.
This gives me a great opportunity to point out just how much I hate Saya's father. After she defeats the monster
as well as, you know, WATCHING THAT MONSTER EAT HER FUCKING FRIEND'S HEAD
, he tells her to "get some rest". ...ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?! GET SOME REST?! Dude, did I not just point out that Saya
JUST WATCHED A FUCKING MOTHERFUCKING CENTIPEDE MONSTER EAT HER FRIEND'S HEAD?!
Screw comforting her or anything like that. No, just get some rest. Thne he does this thing with his hand and she falls asleep. I don't like this guy. I think he's evil.

And speaking of guys who might be evil, Fumito. There was this look in his eyes that didn't look pleasant at one point. And her teacher. Though she might be good. I can't tell.

Then it turns out the dog talks. Oh and
Nono turns into one of those monsters. She kills a bunch of people, but then Saya kills her. Then the dog tells her to "wake up." Implying that a good deal of what I just watched was a total waste of my time.

I feel like I need to be enlighten into the light known as Uniclo.

Also, extremely interested into seeing where this show goes now.

Pretty funny how the not even started OP is, but I liked the manga/LN art ED more.

So far so good. I'm liking the setting and atmosphere. Izumiko is a bit too much of a scaredy cat probably, but it feels fitting with the image I get of her based on what I perceive as her upbringing and experiences growing up.
Miyuki is an asshole which I dislike. He has his reason to dislike his father and those are good reasons (for what I can gather) but being an asshole to Izumiko is just unforgivable.

How many dakimakuras have you purchased in the past year?

[X] 0
[ ] too many

Do you wish you didn't know what a dakimakura is?

[ ] What's a dakimakura?
[ ] Yes.
[X] No.

Devil survivor 2 - 03
Not bad , feels like some scenes in P4Anime at times.
I knew who the "cracker" was , but i wasn't expecting this turn of events.

They are however throwing oo many things at once and assuming i've played the game .. i haven't and the final result comes as sloppy during some scenes

My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU Episode 2

Whats creepy about laughing while reading a book? Anyway really funny episode as a whole, the delusions of grandeur (chuunibyou), though he seemed to have a really light case but I guess Hikki had it intensely if he had all that mythology and such about it. Definitely moving up on my list of good school club anime type things. We need more anime where the club helps people with their various issues (or at least more Sket Dance).

Who knew Ashiya have such refine taste in fashion? The arguments and shticks between Maou and Emi is continues to be great and Ashiya is still hilarious with his exaggerated yellings.

Now that I've got my other issues with this particular show out of the way (and can actually watch it in an understandable language), I'll get down to the obvious.

Yes, this is fun. It's also very dumb, but I like how it isn't ignorant of that fact with what they did here. It's practically asking the audience to laugh at the absurdities.

I realize self-awareness doesn't make the writing any more intelligent but it does make things more enjoyable. Can't really argue with that myself.

On that note, I do not think this will have the sort of ending Code Geass had, much less an ending like Guilty Crown's. The scene at the end might trick some people into thinking that, for obvious reasons, but you need to look at the context and the fact this is episode 2. I might be wrong, but I'm predicting that after all the twists and turns the finale will be very different. Whether that's good or bad is something I'd rather not worry about yet.

Also, I still like the main robot.
The ED makes me think it might actually transform after all though.

Honestly the only decent scene in the episode

Nintendo vs Sega 1

Opening: Bad.
Ending: Poor.

Went to check out a random anime recommendation and it took me until after the Op to find out its the Nintendo vs Sega anime.

Could be fun.

Can someone take me back in time and stop myself from watching this? Because the episode was horrible. I literally stopped watching halfway and really considered just ending my misery with this before just deciding to go through with it until the end.

No amount of fanservice can deter me away from calling out a episode with bad action scenes, pacing, characters, and a story I could not care for in the slightest.

Speaking about the characters, some of them honestly don't remind of anyone of whom they're based on. Sonic, Tails, Mario, and Yoshi were obvious though the others not so much (My Sega knowledge is admittingly not the best after not playing their games for so long). Link was truly the wildcard because that seriously did not look at all and I had to check up on who he was.

There's only like 3 episodes so far, but even then I'm not exactly excited about watching the rest. The only thing that will probably end up making me continue would be just to see the other characters.
