Their personalities? The only ones I would even tolerate being around in real life is Rikka and Yukimura, the rest are too high maintenance to even talk to. If I was raising Kobato we'd be on the rocks because no way in hell I'd let my little sister slip into some stupid alter-ego from a cartoon the whole time she was near me. Yozora I'd just cut off contact with, childhood friends or not. Sena would get more time than Yozora to reform but would still piss me off with her superiority complex, the little nun girl, ugh, wouldn't tolerate her, I guess the older nun girl's somewhat passable in conversation at school but I'd have had to have blocked her number on my phone which probably would lead to a deterioration of that relationship.
Awww yisss, Mother Effin' Rose Gundam. George goes Super Saiyan, and, predictable as this arc has been, it's still freaking awesome. It was nice to see George do something for himself, since his goal was otherwise incredibly lame compared to Chibodee, Sai, and Argo. Oh, and Allenby can go fall in a ditch. DOES SHE HAVE TO BE EVERYWHERE NOW?
Allenby is like, HEY DOMON CAN I THROW MYSELF AT YOU ANY HARDER? HEY DOMON I FIGHT WITH A RIBBON JUST LIKE MASTER ASIA. HEY DOMON DO YOU THINK I LOOK GOOD IN MY MOBILE TRACE SUIT? HEY DOMON HEY DOMON HEY DOMON.
it was pretty nice.
-The final henshin was disappointing, and so was the final attack.
I guess the show wasn't offensive or anything of the sort, but I'm left with a whole lot of nothing by the end. I would have liked a more bombastic finale in terms of visuals, but whatever.
With this, Winter is over for me. Now, on to the CG heaven!
This was a very harmless, very safe, occasionally fun and yet ultimately forgettable show. I don't think any of these characters are gonna stick with me in the long run save perhaps for the bird and I don't think they did as much with the settting as they could have but it was still a nice enough show while it lasted.
And with the news of Chuu2 getting a second season i have no choice but to consider KyoAni as dead to me for the foreseeable future. A shame but it was actually a long time coming.

Nothing, other than Yozora who bullies children. As Haly said, the rest are just oddballs. A case could be made for Sena because she's kind of spoiled and arrogant, but it's nowhere near as aggravating as most characters with those traits.
We also got Yukimura, a nothing of a character that cross dresses, Rika, a perverted mad scientist that can get aroused by literally anything, Kobato, the main character's chuunibyou sister, and Maria, a 10 year old Index. No horrible people here.
Truly atrocious. This episode is so bad that I find it difficult to grapple with honestly.
Misunderstandings in storytelling are generally loathsome. Tamako Market is insubstantial to begin with, but when it attempts to create dramatic swells through such simplistic means everything just winds up feeling more pointless. Watching is a slog to begin with because all misunderstandings are dealt with in the same manner: information. This in itself is a dull process, particularly for a finale as everything comes out in droning monologues.
What might be worse is how deflating the conclusion becomes. Everyone just gives themselves a small knock on the head and proclaims, "Aren't I so silly?". In the show's fumbling around to seek out grander drama it only loses sight of its personal stories, which have largely been its strength throughout. The series went out of its way to set up potential conflict, romance, and excitement within its own boundaries, but everything was pushed aside to introduce bland extras who do nothing for the series.
There is some fluff about how the market is a warm and cheerful place, but the show never really pulls the location together and there is certainly nothing about these last few episodes that would really do much to verify that point.
Just finished watching From the New World, was truly a fantastic anime.
One of the best I've seen in quite some time. I wish more animes had that level of depth.
That awkward moment when you realise that Mercury's left glove is wrongly-coloured for a few frames during the Bubble Spray stock footage. Now I'll never unsee it! >___<
So Sousuke meets Gauron again, and Gauron is busy shooting people in the head like he always does. Kaname gets taken away to get put on one of many Science Tables. Kalinin assures Capt. Testarossa that Sagara is going to put the mission before his personal feelings, speaking of Sousuke's feelings about Gauron, but does not account for Sousuke's new feelings for Chidori. This is significant because
it's this same gosh-dang romance that's going to completely undo Kalinin's grand-master plan in the end. I hope.
Mithril mobilizes its troops and the stage is set for some really awesome episodes. We may also assume this to be the FMP cycle going full-swing. Sousuke's mecha action world to Kaname's high school romantic comedy world back to mecha action again.
Oh, and Sousuke's infamous "I take out the trash." line. Good times.
Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam 4
So Kamille has HELLA parental issues. Boy needs to be put in Onizuka's class. Of course, I don't know if Onizuka can rectify "My mom got blasted into the vacuum of space." Then again, he IS Onizuka. In any case, Kamille's dad apparently likes to go a-whoring, and EVERYBODY knows it. He also is a mechafetishist. Emma betrays the Titans because you can't be a good person and work for the bad guys, so she instead chooses to sign up for the team with Char Aznable, who, among other things, killed his so-called best friend in cold blood. But then, he IS Char.
So now Char has 3 black Gundams at his disposal, as well as his 3 weird Zaku, Rik Dom things. What he intends to do with all this firepower is yet a mystery.
Oh, am I supposed to be calling him Quattro? Because it's even more obviously Char than that Neo Roanoke was Mu La Flaga.
This show's been raising a lot of hubbub about NewTypes, too, which reminds me that I'm pretty sure that Schwarz Bruder and Soma Pires of G and 00 are. Schwarz because he definitely had a NewType flash a few episodes back, and Soma because it's the only way to excuse Quantum Brain Waves as a thing. I'd accuse FMP!'s Whispered of being NewTypes, except NewTypes seem to be more about senses (and telepathy), whereas Whispered are all about information (and telepathy.) Then again, there's been speculation that Sousuke is a Whispered whose field of expertise is combat, which would basically make him a NewType.
And on the subject of NewType speculation, I'm betting good money that Kamille, unlike Kou or Shiro, is a NewType. Let us all hope this is but one way in which Kamille differs from them. (Actually Shiro wasn't that bad, when all is said and done, but Kou, oh man, Kou.)
Kotoura-san 12 FINISH
Ah, this is the "we only have twelve episodes to finish this show so just skip to the relationship conclusions" finale. Pillow fights cure all arguments, it's a good idea to tell your child they shouldn't have been born if you feel you have failed them as a parent, EMERGENCY MANABE VOICE ACTOR REPLACEMENT I think? and Karaoke gags are still funny.
It was a pretty good show that started out strong. The switching between light and dark tones was really stupid but also really entertaining but it seemed to decrease as the show went on. Apparently things were made lighter when it is was translated to anime. I don't know all the changes and cuts but I could definitely feel it, especially in the "murder" plot.
I finished Cardfight!! Vanguard Asia Ciruit today. My opinion:
Though i feared this anime would get boring this season, it didn't. Indeed there are a lot of new clans and new cards introduced all along the season, so itisn't too repetitive- which is the main danger for card series.
Regarding the characters, if aichi didn't change at all Misaki bacame a real bore. She was so disappointing. Kai has a lesser role in this season, so too bad for you if you liked him in the first season. The good news character-wise is Kamui that kind of grew up, though he's still tha main comical element of the show.
The plot is interesting in that it shows more interactions between Cray and the Earth. An improvement from season 1.
To sum up, I'll rate 8/10. It's as great as a card anime can get. Or at least it is all that I expect from such an anime.
Interesting series which oftens switch up light and dark scenes despite the character looking like a comedy series. I will miss the light? hearted series.
That was fun, I like this season a lot more than S1.. I dunno what so offensive really, unlike Sakurasou I don't felt the enraging feeling, there was drama in last arc but its in much lower tone and quite fit, this show about awkward kids afterall and Rika suddenly became lead girl, what not to like.
Will look forward to another season.
@Corvo
Camille were so hax in SRW game like Amuro, there must be reason for it.
All these Haganai NEXT impressions are making me rethink continuing on and I had a big backlog of episodes to blaze through too. (Like from episode 4 onward)
Chuu2 getting a sequel... wat.son
And then I find out re-reading the thread that Nichijou was by KyoAni? And we won't get more of that instead... Stupid low sales. D:
So now all that's left is catching up with the Magi/Jojo adaptations and going through Psycho-Pass. Also potentially doing an EVA first runthrough on top of my backlog'd Madoka first viewing. Man I suck at keeping up.
