They just moved to that team just after working for Psycho-Pass and Robotic; Notes, and bam its announced together with Kyojin anime.

Scratch that then, I remember few staff involved in PP and some R;N episode.. guess I'm wrong.
Wit was involved with PP but not to the same extent as AoT.
The character designer for PP is at Wit, but he barely worked on PP at all as an animator or animation director. He probably left early in pre-production or production. The show was made in IG Studio 5. R;N is supposedly a Studio 6 project, but most of the show seems to be other parts of IG chipping in, so they knew Studio 6 was going to split into Wit long in advance. I think Wit Studio actually worked on some episodes of R;N, but it's not a core project for them. They had zero involvement with PP.
The vast majority of the Shingeki team are identical to the Guilty Crown team, so they've probably been planning since GC ended. That still isn't a lot of time though, for a big show like this. Especially when Wit actually had to move to new offices, and also produce another movie at the same time.

Its as bas as Season 2 was to Season 1 of Darker than Black.

Why would he waste his time examining it when he's working on an LN adaptation? These questions are better off being asked @ based Kawahara the actual writer, than a guy hired to make an anime out of a hit LN series.

According to RahXephon director Yutaka Izubuchi, the similarity of designs and powers of the title robots and the basic plots of RahXephon and Raideen are intentional
It's a mix of Raideen, Megazone, Eva and The Dandelion Girl (well duh to the last one)

Weren't they just doing some animation outsourcing for the last episode? I remember seeing Gainax in the credits after Episode 26 aired and was told @ the time it was just some animation work, along with a lot of other companies. Happens all the time.

I can't believe the god tier anime song team up of Maaya and Kanno went from Hemisphere to Triangler... what a fucking let down. Was like their best work together to their worst.
And yeah dat aquarion OP... so good it made me actually watch 6 episodes of aquarion back when it aired before I gave up and quit anime completely... only to come back to that god tier Spring 07 season.
I actually liked Aquarion a lot more when I started to rewatch it a few years ago, Kawamori was just having fun out there.

I can't comprehend the appeal of team Kirino, I understand SDBurton is salty that Kuroneko cuts down Kirino and doesn't put up with her bullshit period, but every other damn female in the show is better than her.

Wasn't really feeling Keiji as a character during his introduction but he sure had a good presence during his conversations with Kenshin and Date about the philosophy that drives him.

Oh GOD I love this arc so much!!
It's such a good arc. One of the ones which I had looked forward to getting to as I went through the series. I really like how much variety there is in this arc compared to normal Conan stories.
Of course. I approve of your choice to watch this.
Not even man! Kirino has that sass! Pair that with her passion of games where she captures the hearts of her fellow maidens and its no surprise why she's top tier in my book. Behind her is Ayase (her OTP) and Saori. Kuroneko is at the very bottom!
Triangler was good but I dunno why Maaya sing it that way.. the Sheryl/Ranka/Duo version was much better.
I enjoyed Aquarion, but yeah its only mediocre.. but dat OP man..

Best part was Emi spying on them thinking they were doing sinister shit, but they're just doing normal stuff like going to bathhouses and shopping at a sale at the grocery store. And she's all "Is this real life?" Oh and her knocking on their door demanding they open and Alciel loses his shit, and Satan's all "Eh don't worry about it." That was fun
I wonder why they don't just kill her now that she's in their house. But I guess they might not have anything to kill her with. Plus there's the whole murder thing. Without their powers, they probably can't handle the police. So they have to be good. Which they've become surprisingly adept at.
