My problem isnt its technical graphics, my problem mostly about how Tri Ace model their character in 3D in their recent HD games and it has nothing to do having advance graphics.

I dont know why they don't understand they need cel shading. The Xeno franchise and Tales franchise understood. So did the Persona franchise.

Yeah I'm hyped. I know its going to be a low tier game, the budget is pretty weak. But its Tri-Ace, they've made some of my favorite rpgs of all time. Plus they always include a waifu or two. For me among the hallmarks of their games is the combat, and this game's mechanics seem a bit different than the others. As long as I enjoy myself and its a fun adventure I'll be happy.
I'd love to see Tri-Ace break out some of their other classics, like Grandia and Valkyrie Profile. Even if they are basic no frills ports, I'd still buy 'em.

They really should've either said Star Ocean 3 was it's own self contained story or just rebooted with a new storyline. Star Ocean 4 tried to introduce alternate timelines but I couldn't take that game for too long.

After the last game I swear I read something along the lines of "the series is shelved" but I'm glad to see that's not the case. I loved SO2 and 3 growing up. Here's hoping the series finds its identity again.

It's not exclusive , Tri ace character models, stories and voice acting have been pretty lack luster the past few games but if it plays like a button mashy xenoblade I could be down for it.

Based on the past like 15 years of this dev the absolute best case scenario for this game is that the combat will be pretty good but the visuals, characters and story will be terrible
