I think I'm going to start doing some microtransactions just because I want to keep this game afloat.
Sent you an invite.
And you.
I want a new ship. ;( I guess the people with $$$$ get the cool ships. I hate the one you start out with, so small. Might as well be a shuttle craft.

I may also wanna point out, that veterans of this game before the F2P are given a special percentage bonus in XP, so if you were to do a mission that gives a certain amount of XP, you get a certain % increase depending how long you were a veteran before this.
For example, I am considered a 200 day veteran, so I got a 3% increase of XP per time I got any XP's. Which may be why I was flying through the ranks at breakneck speed compared to my first time through.
Where do I look up the name you guys need? The thing@thing or whatever
Any way to get this on Steam right now?
The awful download client I got off their site won't download anything.
Can I delete that Pando thing after I've installed STO and gotten all the patches and whatnot?
I think its like "account name"@"character name" or so I think.
So how do I refine Dilithium?
Also I'm pretty sure my name is then Alix@The_Technomancer
When playing STO, one hand always rests on the arrow keys to transfer power to the shields.
The internet told me this was going to be available via Steam, but I don't see it. What gives?
What happens to those with lifetime subscriptions?
So I just hit Lt. Commander and I was able to buy the first rank of a second tier skill for my captain, but now I can't buy any more even though I have enough skill points. This goes for both space and ground skills. Can anyone tell me why I can't put more points in?
Well I guess i will check out the game now. Not a fan of MMOs in general, but the Star Trek setting and it being free is enough for me to give it a shot.
How do you see if you got a fleet invite? I never got it.
STO definitely feels very Star Trek. It's great how they made diverting power to shields/engines/weapons a game mechanic.
