I wonder if they will have to add a wheelchair ramp to the back of the bridge set and have all the chairs lift up to help these old folks stand back up.

I met Marina Sertis a few years back and she was actually still pretty banging but is ANYONE in this cast under 65?

They’re all older than the TOS cast was in Undiscovered Country. This is meant to be that for the TNG crew, but they never got their send off movie because Nemesis was dog shit and Paramount was so stupid to release it on the same day as The Two Towers and it killed the movie franchise for seven years.

Well, so long as S3 is dealing with those mind controlling parasite bugs from the end of TNG S1 I'll give them a pass for assembling a bunch of retirees for "one last mission" or whatever.

Frau Farbissina as a Picard villain is an interesting choice

It's Amanda Plummer. Christopher Plummer's daughter. Himself a Star Trek villain

I've seen a decent amount of TNG, but yeah haven't heard of Lore.
Lore is Data’s evil twin brother who Soong created first but with emotions. He was in four episodes of the series but not seen or heard from since the Season 6 premiere. It’s like until this point the people making Star Trek forgot he exists as he was never mentioned in Nemesis or S1 of Picard, both of which has Data centric stories.

The Borg were cooler till they started making them weaker and weaker as the show progressed... 👀
Sorry, ain't NOTHING cooler than body parasites that pop out of your hollowed out torso in a last ditch attempt to kill someone.

I always felt a guy with a spear could just stab all the Borg to death. Why rely on phasers you KNOW will fail when there are so many other weapons to use on slow walking mannikans?

Please don't ruin Worf like you ruined Picard and Seven. At least Michael Dorn seems to actually enjoy playing the character, and understanding him, so there's hope for him.

I love Star Trek and the only reason I have passed on Picard is lack of access. I just do not want to get another streaming service. Knowing this is the final season, I may hop on around March or so and watch all of it. Maybe once I am done with True Blood, this will be a good show to watch.

Lol, no. The Doctor, Tuvok and Seven were stand out, even if wasn't consistently good, it was still Star Trek. It has some great villains, stories and characters.
Voyager was my least favorite out of the bunch. I didn't really like Enterprise that much, though I'm always willing to give Sam Beckett a chance. Some of it was ok. I can't really tell you WHY I didn't like Voyager. I watched it, finished it but didn't care about the characters much, outside of the Doc and the vulcan. I haven't watched any Star Trek after Enterprise. I don't think I want to.

They only way I watch this is if the first 10 minutes of episode 1 is every cast member getting on one knee and apologising sincerely for the damage they have done to the Star Trek legacy.

Picard and Discovery are borderline criminal acts.

There actually IS hype brewing for this season... Especially after some harsh critics like Robert Meyer Barnett got early access to see it. They've said it's the 8th season of TNG, basically.
Oh really? Didnt know that...im still burned by the 2 seasons though...but if even the strongest critics think its good it might actually be good

The writers, director and producers are the ones that should apologize. They control the story and the Star Trek universe, not the cast. The cast is just there for the pay check.

Picard would have stood up for his principles. Nobody with a hard copy of Shakespeare in his cabin could be involved with S2 especially. Sadly Patrick Stewart learned very little from playing that character :(
