RIP. I was talking last night about how it’s remarkable that a character with so little screen time, made such an impact on pop culture. That’s down to a lot of people on the team, but in no small part due to the amazing job Bulloch did bringing him to life, which isn’t easy under a faceless mask.

everyone gives Boba Fett shit, almost like he is underrated because he is overrated. i see so many people say he has never done anything. yes, Jedi retconned him into a bumbling jobber, but Empire, man, EMPIRE!!!
there was a solid several years where he was the man who was hand-picked by Darth Vader from a line-up of baddies from across the galaxy
the man who when the full force of the Empire couldn't do it, single-handedly, using his wits, tracked down and captured Han Solo:
delivering his bounty to TWO parties, leveraging both Vader and Jabba, both compensating him well for his extreme competence.
dude was also dealing with Lando. he had his hands in a lot of pies. both a killer and a businessman.
he even briefly had a shoot-out with a fresh-from-training Luke Skywalker in the hallways of Cloud City.
Fett loads his cargo and one of the main characters leaves, perhaps never to be seen again. our heroes have lost. Fett is once again victorious.
Slave 1 lifts off into the sunset, Leia desperately shooting it with her pitiful lasergun in frustration. Fett exits the film as the most cold and calculating villain the series has ever seen.
Jeremy's work in Empire Strikes Back alone is legendary status. don't let anybody tell you Boba Fett was a punk.
