I just wish finn was a force user.
Why dey gotta deny him powas yall??
The lightsaber was sent to reach Rey's planet by Luke through using the force, I get that and it shows how powerful Luke really is but there's something else no one talks about ever: the Falcon, just sitting there on Jakku. Why was it left there? The Falcon hangar door is completely open when Finn and Rey literally run into it because it's just there for them to escape (and neither has ever encountered it before). What's the meaning behind that? Was is left there for Rey to find one day? Han never really explains it to them and the audience quickly forgets how they got on it so are they setting it up for another movie where it's explained that it was left there for Rey as well as the saber "finding" her (in a matter of speaking)?
apparently it's in the hands of a gang. the falcon Lego comes with some of them.

Finn seems to be more like the "Han" of the new characters, except he sucks at fighting lol. Finn = former Imperial. Han was as well and they both leave for similar reasons.
I don't believe we have gotten any indication of Han being a former Imperial? I haven't read all the new books though. Han's backstory I expect is going to remain a mystery till we get the Han Solo film in 2018.
Okay well, before Disney fucked the EU Han ended up joining the Imperial Military Academy when he was younger but was kicked out when he stopped an officer from beating down a wookiee (Chewbacca).
I'm betting Han being a former imperial will get re-introduced. It's one of those things that people just sorta seem to "know" even if they've never read an EU novel. It's not super-out-of-bounds, either. It's essentially the exact same path Luke was going to take to get off Tattooine.
Why does Disney always seem to get blamed for this? I see this all the time. Disney isn't to blame for the EU being axed. That was clearly a Lucasfilm call the second Episode VII went into pre-production. The EU was dead the second George Lucas hired Michael Arndt to write Episode VII.
Yeah, it does feels like its always been one of those things always out there, even long before the AC Crispin Han books.
Although with Kennedy saying we aren't getting a teen Han, the Han film may not be about that. I REALLY hope it isn't a Batman Begins/Casino Royale style Han Solo origin story. I want Indiana Jones sort of random adventure with Han & Chewie. I don't want to learn how Han got his vest.
I can already picture a trailer scene of Han introducing himself to Chewbacca for the first time and it makes me cringe. I really don't want that movie, I want a Han Solo & Chewie one-off adventure movie. Basically what the Brian Daley books did.
Because the official closure of the EU didn't happen until 2014.
Im positive its fake.So did amazon spoil Finn's background or was this already public knowledge?
Oh cool, I was like WTFIm positive its fake.
Is Shattered Empire worth reading?
Finn and Rey are both Luke's kids from random hookups. There's some sexual tension that's made intensely awkward when they find out. It's like poetry.

Other than the fact Adam Driver is signed on for all 3 filmsRey kills Kylo in 8, Finn vs. Rey at the conclusion of 9. Friend vs friend, I'm betting this is how it goes.
3. Who is Rey's mother? If she's Luke's daughter will we see the story of Luke and the mother? We got very little of Padme in the OT, so I don't know whether we will or whether we need it. This mother just seems like one of the biggest unknowns moving forward.
Other than the fact Adam Driver is signed on for all 3 films
Its just ok imo.
It shoe horns in every major character stifling the characters we actually care about (poe's parents).
The art is decent except when those major characters have to be drawn as you can tell they are obviously referenced and traced. They look jarring when compared to the main characters.
I was expecting a lot more since I'm a huge fan of Rucka but he only manages to limp a long a story with a bunch of mandated beats.
What if Luke is watching over Rey not because she's his, but because she's somehow related to old Ben?
Weren't there a lot of early rumors about Obi-Wan having a family on Tatooine during his hermit dats and his granddaughter playing into the story of TFA?
Would tie into his solo movie.
Now you know how people who read the books felt. They killed waaaaaaay too many major characters off to the point of frustration. The Han Solo movie is going to hurt so much knowing that he dies
Is the music from any of the trailers or tv spots thought to be sampled from the actual soundtrack, or is it all tailor made for promotional purposes?
All of them feature familiar themes and motifs but composed in a new way.
Annouced in 2014 but it was clearly dead the moment we learned about Episode VII existing. There is no way a single person thought when Lucas decided to start the machine back up again and hired Ardnt that they were going to follow the continuity of the novels.
Not to mention Disney is very hands off when it comes to Lucasfilm, they aren't going to be making calls about the EU.
But yeah, the casting of Han is going to be pretty vital. Big big shoes to fill.

Please tell me the Kylo and Phasma minifigs look like this now. I watched a few Youtube reviews of the shuttle and tank kits and they were really bad. They didn't even have faces.Guy on reddit is saying this is the lego figure for Maz. http://imgur.com/a/KJvwu
He doesn't have a solo movie planned, that is all fan pipe dreams at this point.
We have
2015 - The Force Awakens
2016 - Rogue One
2017 - Episode VIII
2018 - Han Solo
2019 - Episode IX
2020 - Boba Fett (not officially Fett but all indications and rumors point to it being a Fett film)
Nothing beyond 2020 yet.
