Star Wars Jedi fallen order is the second best star wars game i have ever played

Played it recently and loved it, but man, I felt like that entire ending was fan service, haha. Especially with how long it went on for and how much of it there was. But it was still cool. Along with a few of the other characters that appeared. It was a fun experience.

I never played the KOTOR games, I tried playing 1 and gave up after awhile. But I believe everyone when they talk about how good it was. In terms of the games I HAVE played I'd have to say...

Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast > Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight > Jedi Fallen Order

Yup, I loved it, especially how atmospheric it felt, that second planet covered partially in snow was so well done I could feel the cool breeze on my face and smell the fresh air, they really did a good job. Can't wait for the sequel, all it needs is fast travel between meditation points.

KOTOR remade with Fallen Order graphics is on my dream list.

Fallen Order was good but lacked a few things to push it into amazing.

Lack of customization and gear was one of the big drawbacks for me.

Visuals, especially for the planets were absolutely amazing though.

Probably third for me. KOTOR, Jedi Outcast and then this. Then Jedi Academy and KOTOR 2.

It's definitely in my top 5 after KotORs, Jedi Outcast and Republic Commando.

I really enjoyed Cal's journey in Fallen Order. I've had such a blast during playing this game.

Jedi Knight: Jedi Outcast was the best Star Wars game I ever played. Had excellent level design that really captured the Star Wars universe. lightsaber combat was awesome. The PC game had a code or mod that you could type in that enabled the light saber to slice off heads and limbs! Realistic lightsaber I think it was called. Game wasn't perfect. There were some puzzles that annoyed me until I gave up and resorted to the online guide. And I remember this one level that had a gauntlet of snipers to get through. But overall I loved playing it. I liked it enough to play through the single player campaign more than twice.

Shame it's so buggy. You're never safe from just falling through the floor at some points.

The end is funny too,
The characters just laugh and go "lol fuck this fighting the Empire shit, let's just go off adventuring and have fun"
Hope we see some of the characters show up in any of the Disney + SW shows.

There was way, way too much fighting small creatures.

I really don't get the point of being a Jedi, having a lightsaber & literally make my character fight through levels of small alien creatures again, again & again - doing stuff I didn't really see in the movies.

The lightsaber duels were fun, but the filler (platforming & those small creatures in a wannabe dark souls gameplay) were too much.

Finished Fallen Order the other day (thanks Gamepass!), very decent game. Really interesting Souls/Castlevania-direction Respawn took the game. A little too much back tracking, would've appreciated an additional fast travel point in each level. Aesthetically awesome, they nailed the lived-in universe look of the OT.

I've tried to get into it a couple of times since it went on to GamePass but I'm just not feeling it. I guess that's not totally surprising as I'm not the biggest Star Wars or Dark Souls fan...

Shame as I was looking forward to it. KOTOR still king.

When did Jedi Academy had its name changed?

Objective STAR WARS gaming power ranking:
  1. Knights of the Old Republic.
  2. Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy.
  3. Battlefront II (2005).
  4. X-Wing Alliance.
  5. Episode I: Racer.

I thought it was very good but unfinished. Quite a bit of copy and paste design from other games without much thought (slides etc)
When it worked though it was excellent, and the story was better than the recent films.

It just never ran well on anything. Even on the Xbox one X I tried when it came to gamepass just in case it's PC issue.

The game is just extremely janky.

The character feels like he's 10 tones heavy which is so odd for a game based on jedis.
Framerate is never good whether in pc or console and the enemy AI bugs out constantly.

I wanted to like this one and gave it multiple chances on 2 different systems but it's a far cry away from the best souls game or the best metroidvania game or the best uncharted style game. Take your pick it does all 3.

I respect the hell out of them for trying something new and it was an odd choice but a good choice for a single player game in general but alas no I can't recommend it.

It's a top game no doubt about it. They NAILED the OG SW atmosphere. For me it's the same:

1. KotOR (also favourite game of all time full stop)
2. KotOR 2
3. Jedi Outcast
4. Jedi Academy
5. Fallen Order

Others like the OG Battlefronts, the Galactic Battlegrounds one, Empire at War etc all deserve a honourable mentions as well. But besides FO nothing really came close to that Jedi Knight/KotOR brilliance.

1. KOTOR
2. SWTOR
3. Jedi Academy (or was it Jedi Knight 2 3) whichever one had the team duels.
4. Fallen Order
5. Yes BattleFront 2 made my top 5. After EA took their medicine, the game is actually really good. They just lost major points for greed.

Well, Fallen Order was a good game. But still not in my top list of Star Wars "feeling" games.
1. Tie Fighter
2. X-Wing Alliance
3. Jedi Knight (Dark Forces 2) + Mysteries of the Sith
4. Dark Forces
5. Kotor 1
6. Kotor 2
...

Really missing the Jedi Knight series with Kyle Katarn. Maybe they should reboot that series. And a Kotor type of game would be great, too .. not as MMO.

Jedi Outcast was the first action game that made me feel like a total Jedi badass. Still the number one in my book.

It's good, I liked both kotor games and all the Jedi knight games more though, hopefully it gets a sequel.

Ran locked 60fps for me on series x, no bugs, no jank, no pop-in, no stutter, no crashes, just smooth sailing from start to finish.

I wonder why KOTOR 2 is so rarely mentioned. I guess it was a shit game?
Apart from having no ending, consider it's one of the few games (maybe even the only one) whose actual official strategy guide warns you about specific bugs and/or glitches.
I'm shocked Obsidian was still getting work after botching so many titles.
Also, that whole "grey Jedi" and "ambiguous morality" pabulum has no place in Star Wars.

Definitely top 5 for me.
It's a bit derivative but still really fun.

The story was the only part that was disappointing.
The entire premise of the story is instantly uninteresting because since it's is canon you already known they won't accomplish their goal.

Just another way the shitty sequel trilogy hurt everything stat wars

That's definitely the part that ruined it for me.
Too much effort went into creating a grimdark edgelord tone. A sign of a writer who is too impressed with his own skills.

Nothing beats the finely-tuned precision lightsaber combat of Obi-Wan.

I remember playing the demo on PC. Shit was so cool but it ran like shit and crashed every 5 minutes.

idk if I would even put it in the top 10 I enjoyed force unleashed more. u got kotor 1 and 2 the 4 jedi knight games + mysteries of the sith, empire at war, podracer, jedi power battles, tie fighter vs xwing, and the 2 force unleashed games ahead of it imo. thats not to say its bad there are a lot of good star wars games just something they could improve to make a sequel even better.

It's in my top 3 Star Wars games I guess, but that's mainly because there aren't that many good SW games. Fallen Order was okay, not great. I think it could have been, with 6-12 more months of development, but it was just not finished.

I really wanted to like this game, but ultimately I couldn't finish it. I just got to fed up with the bugs I was experiencing during combat. I have only tried the ps4 version so maybe they weren't present in other platforms but it was insanely frustrating especially on the harder difficulty to not be able to target effectively. I remember multiple instances of the game snapping my target lock on enemies that were farther away or even behind me instead of the one immediately in front of me. I often felt the character was not responsive enough during combat as well. From a design perspective, I was also a little put off that the lightsaber wasn't very effective against regular plants and animals. There were a lot of great aspects that make me open to checking out a sequel, but I really hope they fix the actual gameplay before then.

SWG pre holocron patch...is still numero uno with all its bugs is still no. 1 for me. Jedi fallen order was cool but not even in the same league as Kotor.

I liked the battlefront games but mostly for the multiplayer.

Platinumed jedi fallen order today and have to say I loved it. Not perfect but a solid 8/10. We need more single player star wars.

I liked it a lot. The only thing I didn't like was the one-way sections of the maps with slides etc. Made travelling complicated and it's also a bit lazy design.

Just finished it after not being able to put it down for the past 2 weeks. I don't give a shit about Star Wars, never have, but this game is fantastic. I loved that it's basically a tomb raider game with a bunch of fun exploration, really loved the metroidvania elements. Combat was serviceable although got bored pretty quickly and they could have done without so many long sliding segments for each set piece. The opening of chests under water really bugged me as well as they just copied the animation from opening one on ground. Hoping they make a sequel.

I thought Vader was a pretty obvious fan service. Game was too simple for my tastes to truely appreciate, though it had some nice moments and cool fights.

I ignored it as EA publicly shit on single player games and killed studios making them. It's cheap now so I guess I'll try it out.

I bought it recently since it was on sale and boy was that a nice surprise.

Uncharted traversal, Souls-lite combat, metroidvania inspired progress... quite a cocktail but the end result is very agreeable! I got up to the point you have to go to what I presume is the final area to retrieve the macguffin.

Apparently it was successful enough to convince EA to make single player content again.

Just finished it last weekend , I share the sentiment pretty much . It must be played on Hard Mode IMO , where the parry timing felt actually right rather than spamming .

Pretty good Starwars game overall , bouncing lasers back felt good , AT-AT climb felt good , AT-ST fight felt good . Wish there could be more planet than backtracking , and a free roam social hub for stories expansion and mini games maybe ?
