Star Wars Outlaws coming to Steam on November 21st

Here's what you get when you can't sell shit and the way SW game should be selling. What a goddamn disaster this company turned into.

It will probably be ignored by the Steam community for whatever survival crafting game of the month that comes out instead

If you still have to use Connect as well, then it's only half coming to Steam as usual, which isn't really coming to Steam for me, this move won't help sales Ubisoft.

Pc gamers are very adamant about specific games, they follow very strict rules 1. Survive on mtn dew and Cheetos 2. Entire new graphics card every summer 3. 1 hour zoom calls

This. I'll buy ubi games on Steam when they ditch Connect. If you want publisher-specific features, build them into the game, not as a toll to get into the game

Yeah, also i'm not running 2 launchers running in the background for 1 game, i want the resources for the game not the clients, especially with the state of a lot of the PC ports now, so my games are on Connect and not Steam, i would prefer it was the other way round. but Ubisoft says no.

What a great strategy. Wait til all the hype is gone and the game has a negative reputation, then release it on the most popular platform that gamers actually want to use.

2024 will forever be remembered as the year where gamers shut their wallets and stopped buying soulless entertainment slop made by devs who hate their audience.

Happy to see the heretics eating crow. In the meantime, I'll be patiently waiting for the Avatar game to hit 85% off.
