Star Wars: The Force Awakens - Official Teaser Trailer #2

Apparently it's because they're being given back the Falcon.

They have their guns drawn, though. It implies that they're taking it back by force.
It seems as if Daisy Ridley's character is piloting it on Jakku, and she's almost certain to be Han and Leia's daughter (if not theirs, then Luke's. The Natalie Portman resemblance is too strong for her not to be a Skywalker). Maybe Han let her have it and then some shenanigans cause it to fall into the Empire's hands and that's what draws Han back in.

Of course, that could all also be bullshit.

It's probably not bullshit.

Looking through the first teaser thread, it appears this one is *slightly* outpacing the last one in terms of views.

I'm sure the word being out on Han and Chewie appearing helped things not to mention all the promotion going on with Celebration. Star Wars was all over ABC the last few days.

I know. And it's awesome

I already love these new characters. The casting is great. I know a lot of attention is on the returning actors and that's beyond understandable, but it's going to be these new people that are going to carry the rest of the story. I'm interested in both how they resolve the older characters as well as what lies ahead for the new ones.

Yep, I'm super glad they casted relatively low key actors for the lead roles. Daisy doesn't have much of a track record at all really. I hope they're great and I really think they will be.

I know we can't judge things based on two 2 minute trailers, but I really think they are doing a great balance of sending off the old characters while giving us new characters to root for. I don't think Generations even did that as well as this trilogy will.

Does anybody know any YouTube videos that explain the Starwars series from the first movie to the last ? It's been a while since I watched the movies and can't afford to see them all so yeah..

That's it? That's all I have to say about how the trailer really... Hints that there is a Skywalker clan and hints that they survive isn't enough. Is there a story behind what happened after the sixth Star Wars? I would love to see that. I know this is just a teaser but from what was shown who gives a shit?

yes, it's this movie.

That song in the trailer is fucking incredible. How the notes build and build into the Star Wars fanfare.. Man

I'm kinda surprised we haven't gotten these scores available. Even if they're not the most interesting pieces divorced from the images - they're still examples of newly recorded Williams music (even if the cues themselves aren't all new) and I WANT THEM.

Are you serious? Not sure if trolling.

It's a new movie. Obviously.

And no, that girl is NOT Leia; she's too young. Do you even Star Wars?
Do I Star Wars? If that is a question whether I have seen all of the Star Wars movies time and time again then yes... I have seen them but this is the first I have seen anything of the new movie. I actually have no idea what they are going for here. Is this Star Wars after Jedi returns.

This movie is a sequel to Return of the Jedi. It takes place 30 to 35 years afterward. The first teaser came out about 4 months ago. It's been a thing for a while now.
