It could be an amazing addition having this integrated into the game
i'd much rather see a friends list added first so I can just click a button to add my friends to my party.

Is there a way to rename the chests like in Terraria?
Also a good feature to be added, and other one I would like to see implemented is an auto sort function on my inventory.

Not really... storage capacity was actually increased for a large amount of chests/crates etc.
I did notice some things had really good space
Quickly place the item in your inventory, or loot everything in the container?
To quickly move things between a container and your inventory (and vice versa) hold down SHIFT as you click on an item, this saves you the effort of dragging and dropping the item.
To just loot everything, just use your MM to pick up the container. Everything will pop out of it, and you just walk over to the items and pick em up automatically. Even faster if you're close enough.

Sadly not possible in areas where items are protected (such as dungeons), but from my experience containers in those areas typically only have a few items at most.

Made a bunch of progress on my farm last night.
Popped into the GAF server at one point too and left a bunch of spare seeds I noticed you were low on.
HaRyu, do you want me to plant some of the ones you don't have? Wasn't sure if you want visitors to plant and stuff, or just leave seeds?
I'm still missing Carrot Seed, Crystal Plant Seed, Feathercrown Seed and Mushroom Seed (EDIT: Looks like you can't get Mushroom seeds anyway). Anyone found these and could share one?
Which is why you use the other method, of holding SHIFT down while clicking on the item.
Retro is the one more or less in charge of GAF base, although I think its alright if other people plant stuff (as long as it looks good) If we need carrot and feathercrown seeds, I have those in storage, I can drop those off later.
I'm not in charge of anything, I just like building stuff. If people need more room for plants or something, I'll happily expand on the greenhouse, but if people want to do whatever, that's fine by me.

Poison ocean planet is working out better than I thought it would, though it wasn't intended to be used this way when I got there.
Turns out that since there's not much land for things to spawn on, they always spawn to the left, where there is land, which is where my turrets are pointing. As long as I'm in one of the rightmost rooms, things will keep spawning and dying. Then I can morphball into the trench underneath to pick everything up if there's acid rain going on, which there usually is.
It's at x: -560524228 y: -994204634 Beta Tania Borealis 9819 IV b. You'll need radiation protection.
I think they are tied to ship upgrades. Basically you need to do every single mission
anyone know of a good mod to light up a character?
my wife hates dealing with torches and the lamp on a stick isn't very helpful so I am looking for something that would let her mine underground like she is a glowing freak
there are legitimate means to do so. there is a glowing bunch of clothing that can be found, the Biolumin set, findable on i believe Alien Worlds, there are yellow stims to add a temporary glow effect, and then the lantern backback, which is fairly dimmer.
i suggest the glowing pants
Well I feel foolish, I'd missed one mission (for the cool jacket) and it turns out that's the one you have to do before you can do the ship upgrades missions. I know what I'll be doing tonight...

Am I alone in getting their ass kicked repeatedly by the
boss? Running through there, all the way to get to that thing, and trying to fight him five times was enough for me so I just went debug-mode and ended it. Hehe
e: forgot to mention that my game was bugged. The animation of the boss attacks were reverse of where they were actually hitting. I was wondering why I was getting hit by invisible forces. Hella odd.

Shields and 2H parry are helpful
It also killed me several times, and wasn't bugged that I could notice. Got a lot easier when I realized I could perfect block the lasers. If those lines in the picture are all damage zones, then .. ouch. I can understand why you'd want to just skip it.
I managed to beat this boss without blocking the lasers at all, mostly because I only figured it out at the end.
I found a bug kind of similar to the one mentioned previously, though mine was on a server and one of the laser streams was not visible but would still damage me. Killed me a few times that way until I played it on SP and noticed it should've had more lasers, then it was pretty easy.

Any tip I need ot know before facing Dreadwing?
Survive long enough to melee. The first time I tried to kill him I tried to stay at range and nuke him but it was incredibly slow going and I got picked apart by his adds. The second time I switched over to melee and took much bigger chunks out of him. I'd wait for him to slam, then dash out from under it and smack him with a hammer.

Yeah, I wish I'd had a two-handed sword for the block ability. You should be fine. Just don't get over-run by his minions. The flying ones are a pain in the ass, you may need to get a gun for those.

Is there an easier way to play with friends yet? I remember trying to do it when the game first came out and got frustrated.

Dreadwing was a lot easier and I wasn't expecting that, or maybe the Rocket Launcher I found is very op.
Edit: I went to craft a Robotic Crafting Table but the item is not on my inventory, though it consumed the 5 titanium bars and the processor. How do I get another processor? :/
Edit 2: Bought some processor on Infinity Express and I craft the damn Robotic table but nothing appears on my inventory. How do I spawn it as admin?
Edit 3: Nevermind, I'm just too dumb it was on my quickbar all this time /facepalm

I've been there as well. Where is the fuck is my oh right I see nevermind.
It looks like the robotable is the best available general crafting station so having two seems smart anyway, one on your ship and one on your home planet saves bouncing back and forth to make useful stuff.

The MM will go up to 4x4, you've just got to keep upgrading it. It is exactly as fantastic as you think.
I hope the mining speed increases too.
I just got up to durasteel tier and have full armor and dual wielding pistols. Pretty cool looking. Uranium is a lot more common than I thought it'd be, so that's good.

Fantastic addition - exactly what is needed.
I hope there's some sort of selection UI for them, instead of cycling through them sequentially. It'll prevent some grief down the road if one is misplaced or something like that.

Teleporters are a game changer. Now GAFWorld can become our central hub to projects on other planets
Pretty much, the main base in GAFWorld becomes Stargate command.
Given how they look like, it'll be more like Wiley's base lol.
I had the same thought, reminded me of every boss-rush room ever in a Mega Man game
