bo7 seems a bit like overkill to me. I'm not sure that we'd have that kind of time. That kind of matchup might last a couple hours.

First matchup determines who advances to the finals in the winner's bracket. Loser in second matchup will win the "Bronze Medal" for 4th place (1st place is Platinum).

Yeah, I was. I got back a little afterwards, but you were offline by then. Wait, these games are due tomorrow at noon? Ugh I am incredibly busy tomorrow. What the hell are we supposed to do about this?

Bo5 only for the finals.

On that note, I was hoping that instead of doing the normal deadline system for the finals (determining the winner by coin toss would be pretty silly) that the two participants should agree on an optimum time and inform us beforehand so that we get as many spectators as possible on the last match. =)

This is it, folks. Our 1v1 tournament has finally come down to the final match.

Both players will need to agree upon a set playtime and post the date and time of the match in this thread and the Official Beta thread. We need spectators. Lots and lots of spectators.

Finals will be a Best of 5.

2. Lost Temple
3. Blistering Sands
4. Metalopolis
5. Scrap Station (or alternatively, Incineration Zone if both players agree)

If you're able to do it today, I can fit in some time to just cram the games in. These two weeks are quite possibly the worst times this tournament could have gone on, or for me to do anything for that matter. I'm sorry guys.

Sorry man I'm working right now. And I'm also going to go out of state with my gf and family to a cabin lodge. We should've just played and got over with it. Now you have finals to do with, and I won't be able to play till Tuesday.

Set more of a time restriction, plus don't make a loser bracket, only a 3/4 place match. Should go by quicker I would think.
