Started playing LOZ: Wind Waker again

the main problem for me was the lack of any difficulty, Gannon would be so much more awesome if he really was a pain to kill.

those 2 dungeons really had to be in the game, you just feel their absence..

TWW's ending was anything but.
Well, things never got completely solved anyway. How did they find a new Hyrule? What happened to the islands over the years? How are they supposed to get the Master Sword from Ganon's head? Hopefully this will be answered in the next Zelda if it's set after Wind Waker.

Still love it though. Especially the art, story, and ending.

You hit the nail on the head here. Great game, but the lack of challenge really hurt the overall feel. Especially since past zelda games have been moderately challenging in comparison.

I must be the only one who loved the sailing.

I would literally just travel the seas in my boat for hours at a time, just taking in the scenery. I love watching the sunset, the stormclouds brewing, the waves picking up speed.

I post almost the exact same thing, in every wind waker thread.

I sailed even when I had the ability to warp. I loved it.

I had 3 or 4 of the 'Triforks' pieces before the game required 'em, I mean.

IIRC. It's been awhile. Sailing certainly got a bit old by the time I finished the game (admittedly the reason why I haven't played through a 3rd time yet), but the Song of Winds was a big help. Tingle translating never bugged me. I had waaaaay too much money by then anyway.

same here- i love when the sun comes up with the dawn music, then the sailing music starts :D i pulled this game out about a week ago to start playing again, and i was floored again by the awesome music and style. it looks and sounds stunning - and it was (when i bought it) the first zelda game i ever played. and the earth temple music was PERFECT.
