Torchlight and Grim Dawn aren't really games you finish quickly, you can sink hundreds of hours into those games.

Part of my problem with ARPGs like Torchlight and Grim Dawn is that when I resume my character I like to re-explore the nearby area to grind for experience and loot. In Torchlight 2, though, this is less of an issue as only dungeons repopulate, so I just work my way through those again; the overworld remains as-is and only repopulates if you re-roll.

Found this buried on the Registry

Don't know anything about this game so I thought I would just post it here. They tried to remove this picture.

Some of the bigger Kickstarter backers got a Steam alpha key to register. So it's playable, just not yet for us regular folks.

I wouldn't mind bumping up my pledge to the $85 tier if there's to be a generous amount of new content in the expansion, but at this juncture it's hard to justify such a large jump.

On a related note, since Nordic says it plans to make use of the IPs it picked from the corpse of THQ, I hope it contracts Crate to develop another Titan Quest game.

Discount just popped up for me.

Achievements appear to be linked to the main game, at least they share the same percentage earned, other than a few exceptions.

FYI, even if you're not in the US, you can buy the game now by using the ?cc=us trick to add it to your cart and then check out as normal. Steam will automatically change your region, but you'll be able to complete the purchase:

Uh-oh that what mine says to.
Guess it figures since i'm using afghan wifi.
Will this be a problem for me come the winter sale and what not?

You'll want to contact Steam Support and ask someone to remove the region lock on your account so you can buy games while outside the US. Alternatively, you could use a US-based VPN (Spotflux should do the trick, I imagine).

Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Director's Cut is giftable apparently, so you can get it for $5 if you have a friend with the base game and dlc gift it to you. They probably should fix that.
or not

Hang on? When did Supreme Ruler 2020 Gold come back? Awww that's another "Games not on Steam" that I had that's now in a less exclusive club.

I had the exact same idea and just bought it. I ran into a problem at first with it saying my wallet wasn't based in the US but changing it to Paypal and then changing it back to my wallet worked. Weird.

How long will the upgrade discounts be up for?

Seems to be indefinitely.

Might have to take advantage of that..

Wow that Deus Ex DC is a big download. Wonder how much could have changed for the dl to be so much bigger than Deus Ex + Missing Link.

High-res movies? Larger textures? Uncompressed sound files? Hopefully all of the above!

Ok thanks for the heads up.
I'll probably have to use Steam Support to do the trick.

Higher quality movies I could see happening, but not improved sound or textures. They would have been shouting it from the rooftops if they went all in like that.

As far as movies go, google search is showing me a file size for Deus Ex:HR of 8.5 and 1.5gb's for Missing link. Those could be console file sizes though.

I got 8.5 on my Steam install of Deus EX: HR base game.

Yes but as of recently I haven't bought anything. Don't know what to do when my funds in the states dry up. Transfer or PayPal linked to my account here....can always do the stream card thing.

Once you start paying with a CC/DC from Asia and not a Steam Points Card, your account will be purchase locked until you open a ticket and support will transfer your Steam to the Asia store.

Good luck.

Thanks for this, forgot about that little trick as I haven't used it since the Scribblenauts Unlimited debacle. DC upgrade for less than £4 feels good, especially as I'm betting it will be £4.99 when it officially is available in the UK.
