With the steam mapper I don't find myself needing to reach a keyboard or mouse ever again if I don't want to. I argue steam is the gold standard of the industry as far as launchers go. The Xbox app improved by it is still atrocious for gamepad users ironically enough.

It isn't so much an issues of current consoles being as advanced as gaming PCs (they aren't really), but rather that there are very very few actually good games that benefit from powerful hardware. Like, you don't need the latest tech to play BG3, Palworld, Monster Hunter, Elden Ring, AC6, etc. Even graphically advanced games like Wukong and Cyberpunk don't strictly need it either.

That doesn't sound like you beat games, I don't care about your library, if you can't put your time on these games then you're wasting money, and the worst part is that you don't own them, ownership is just an illusion and you shouldn't fear you're missing something cause they won't go away.

I'll agree with the troll post on a couple things but especially the fucking controller part.
It especially pisses me off when it's a game that came out on console, and even worse when it's a 7th gen game that you know console was the primary development platform.

I re-put up my PS5 digital console because of the red plates I have for it. So because it's digital I also put back up my PS4 Pro. So now I still have the PS5 slim disc console. So IDK what to do now really. Stick with PS5 digital regular with red plates and PS4 Pro or go back again to PS5 slim...Mac Mini M2 or iMac M3? Poll.

Steam Deck largely sold me on pc gaming. It’s close to a console experience but with the ridiculous Steam and key site sales. Plus you can add gamepass to it streaming from xcloud.
