Steam sale veterans, are there "rules" when it comes to buying indie games? For example, if a somewhat popular indie game pops up as a daily on day 3, should I buy it or wait for it to be on a bundle. Can I gift games I already own from those bundles?

So I either own everything or it's not worth buying a pack for 1 game damn lol.
Same, I was looking forward to picking up a few games, but they're in bundles where I already own the rest of the games in there. Hopefully they discount the individual games too.
Except for the last bundle, it`s the same for me. I hope the games included in those bundles also get I daily, so I can buy the few I want.

Yeah that's annoying. There are 2-3 games I want out of that but they are in bundles that don't interest me.

are probably the only ones I'm really interested in getting.
I think it`s an issue with Steam. The same is happening with Crusader Kings II here.

I didn't really expect that last one in Day 5.
But I already have most of these(or at least most that I want) so ;_;
3 months after registering and after you rack up 300 posts.
Xseed is about to COLLECT on day 5.
That's the main one I wanted to get but I own all the others. Hope it gets its own discount at some point.
And same here for Tribes :/
Really? I'd say its stupid similar to Receattear. It matched with multiple other games that have been given away already in multiple other bundles or on sale for dirt cheap. Audiosurf for example is word vomit and a waste of a space. Its been on sale for like 2$ every sale since 2009.
I'd much rather have a 66% off sale for a daily deal.
Like most others have stated. The packs are great for new players, but people who have been on Steam for a few years now already own most of the games. So its like one, maybe 2 games in a pack of 5. And its to the point where I'd rather just pay the addition few bucks for the two games I want. Than buy another pack.

How much do you guys think these bundles will go for? $5 seems waaaay too generous, but at $10, I'm not sure if I'll be interested in buying a bundle for one game.
Also, I remember the Recettear guys saying they wish they weren't in a $5 bundle because the game was too cheap. And since then, I don't think it's been below $10 (I could be wrong here).

Same, though who knows? Maybe these are $20 indie bundles rather than $5, though I still would like Xseed to make the most money possible and I imagine a single $5 will do more good for that.
They've had solo $5 deals afterwards, which is what would be best for Ys I think.

Ys is totally worth the asking price for Day 5, everyone. Daily or not, it's great!
You usually don't get a giftable copy of the game you already have. Sometimes, however, you do get them as gifts.
Either you'll be able to gift the ones you own, or they'll just disappear, depending on how the bundle's set up.

But damn, there's only one or two things I want in those bundles. Guess I'm stocking up on stuff I'll never play. Gonna pray for what I want to be discounted anyway. D:
