I bought this bundle because it has games from franchises which I have some games, so I obviously have to complete the collection.
What are those games about? I have no idea.

Your hate against this bundle isn't. Not everything 1C does or has done has been bad. The games 1C has chosen to feature in this bundle are amongst those that are most certainly NOT bad.
Like I said, "Go ahead and irrationally ignore several good games then."

Reading the last page of an Asterix book always made me hungry.
Some years ago I told myself that I'd import hardcover copies of all the books when I received my tax return, but I never got around to it. One of my mates managed to remember this and bought me one for my birthday earlier in the year, so I suppose I'll have to complete the collection sooner or later.I loved Asterix as a kid... and probably even more so now.

Last I checked, GetGamesGo had it for 22% off. That's where I picked it up (theoretically at least, since I haven't yet been sent my key).
It's been donkey's years since I've played it. I remember not being overly impressed but I didn't hate it, either. Take from that what you will.

Bought. I think I am missing one or two of those games (can't check at work), but if not, someone at Neogaf will get a pleasant surprise.

I'm a fan too, but being French, it's less of a surprise. I was also a big fan of the Genesis game, JaseC is right, it needs to come to Steam ASAP.
I remember it being pretty bloody hard, but I didn't care, because Asterix.
A mate and I finished the game on the PS3 a few years ago, but I'd throw money at a PC port in a heartbeat.

The latter. Quake is awesome. Quake 2 is awesome. Quake 3 is awesome. And you also have the expansion packs (which I've never played... I need to fix that eventually).
Almost all ArmA players/servers use mods or custom scenarios. There's a wide variety of types. If you're interested in PvP, most people play Wasteland, King of the Hill and TDM. There's even a version of DayZ in the works.

In Russia, there is the first game, "В тылу врага" (which has several Russia-only expansions) and its sequel "В тылу врага 2". The sequel also has three expansions, which are called "В тылу врага 2: Братья по оружию", "В тылу врага 2: Лис пустыни" and "В тылу врага 2: Штурм". There is also a stand-alone expansion which drops the series name and is simply called "Чёрные бушлаты". The amount of expansions is a bit confusing, but at least you can tell what came first and that the games are actually related.
Let's take a look at the English names of the same games now. "В тылу врага" (which means literally "behind enemy lines", by the way) = Soldiers: Heroes of World War II. "В тылу врага 2" = "Faces of War. "В тылу врага 2: Лис пустыни" = "Men of War". "Чёрные бушлаты" = "Men of War: Red Tide". "В тылу врага 2: Штурм" = "Men of War: Assault Squad". The other remaining expansion seemingly didn't get an English release.

You can get some fancy mods, graphical and otherwise for vanilla Doom 3 if you care about that thing.
If you don't, best get BFG. It's a nice package, has some extra content (Doom 3: The Lost mission) and all the games have achievements, even Doom 1 and Doom 2.
They could be at work or otherwise occupied at the moment.
