From NeoGAF itself http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1417020
There was a person on gaming side that misspelled the Mayhem in the game name as maybe in his title so now everyone does it because it's kind of funny so now everyone does it, like fidget spinners

Is this supposed to be the French accent?
Sega JP and Atlus JP are the absolute worst when it comes to PC.
yes.
Everytime you type, this is what you sound like in my head by the way.
Whilst eating a baguette.

Yes and yes!

At least, there will be a French hero in Dota 2...
Despite his caricature of an accent (we don't talk like this), I am glad Valve associated "style" with French people.
And maybe they even work if you're lucky! While they release their games on PC intentionally late, at least they do release them on PC.

Also this discussion is forgetting KT.
Yeah, the Vita versions for 60$.At least, KT release everything.
I'll be honest, I didn't notice the accent at first
It's not that different from all the other heroes with exaggerated accents and personality traits used to associate with a certain nationality, like Sven (Germany) or Bristleback (Australia).
Saw Star Door 15 yet?Hit the Finale Chapter in Trails in the Sky the 3rd, got here pretty fast but I'm probably gonna spend some time finishing up the doors, the minigames might take me a damn long time but I might beat those eventually too, I wanna be a Miranaire after all.

You'd hope people already understand this, but people love their stereotypes and most forms of entertainment role around in this. My gf is from Nantes and makes the same comment almost every time a French person is portrayed by some other nationality.
Speaking of KT, since they are working on that Dissidia NT with SE, I wouldn't be surprised if the game popped up on Steam out of the blue.
Question about Pillars of Eternity btw:
How essential are the White March DLCs?
And are they integrated into the base game and should be experienced while playing that or are they additional areas you can go to anytime?

Is Death Prophet German or French? I think the accent is German, but sometimes I have doubts. For instance:

out of the blue = a late port a year later
I see. Guess I'll play the first act first to get a feel for the game and see if I want White March immediately.I thought White March was the best part of Pillars. I think it can be done anytime during the main story after you clear the first act of the game.
Sometimes you also come across some straight-up PS2 textures though, lol.
Going to bite the bullet on a 1080, upgrading from my 970
Luther is great. Series 4 was maybe a bit unnecessary, but still entertaining.
Ozark is the new hot shit though.

It's possible, not sure what's the easiest way though. If you try to redeem the code with archi's steam farm for example, it will tell you what it is.I won this key but its apparently DLC to something I don't own. Anyway to tell what it goes to?
With a name like Sven I would have figured he's from Sweden. It's not that different from all the other heroes with exaggerated accents and personality traits used to associate with a certain nationality, like Sven (Germany) or Bristleback (Australia).
I'll be honest, I didn't notice the accent at first and my first association with France came from the fact the fox/armadillo hybrid is a musketeer.

What are you gonna do with the 970? "Ship it to Canada and give it to a SteamGAFfer" has gotta be up there, right?
nice thread btw
