Yo, finally a SAO game on PC?! MY PRAYERS HAVE BEEN ANSWERED?!?! I'M HYPE!!!!
Bandai Namco's #Projekt1514 is new Sword Art Online game (PS4/X1/PC)
Oh lawd, the open sewer that is SAO coming to PC. We're all doomed.

PC survived Naruto, I'm sure it can survive a better anime like SAO.
It is extremely likely it will be my PC-GotY. In top-3 of the metroidvania-games I've played.hollow knight is really good
Nice to hear, that's what it's there for.Had a computer crash today. It was while I was playing Cold Steel and when I checked after rebooting my save file was fucked. I had a second file but it was a bit behind, then I remembered the auto-save feature Durante added. Man that feature is freaking great!
Steam couldn't do anything about games that are DRM free either. That's the whole idea of DRM-free -- once you have the data you have the game.A thought that occurred to me earlier, but how does Steam (or GOG too I guess) enforce refunds on games that are DRM free?
I doubt GOG could do anything but Steam surely could, no?
Apart from no patches or online functionality I guess, just seem exploitable :/
I'm sure it's been talked about before but the thought came to me earlier on
The whole thing comes off as someone trying to spark outrage through misleading people. The average user doesn't even really need to care about Steamworks denying keys.
I noticed Cold Steel still has only 'partial controller support' listed on the store page. Does Valve still not believe your launcher has controller support?Nice to hear, that's what it's there for.
(Note though that if your entire PC crashed and a save was corrupted I'd suggest looking at the SMART data for your HDD/SSD. Something might be afoot)
I haven't checked back into that -- it's a bit silly, but I doubt it's preventing a lot of people from getting the game.I noticed Cold Steel still has only 'partial controller support' listed on the store page. Does Valve still not believe your launcher has controller support?

Probably Valve nagging developers to ditch launchers of any kind. Even though of course in the case of Cold Steel the launcher has itself controller supportI haven't checked back into that -- it's a bit silly, but I doubt it's preventing a lot of people from getting the game.
Still, I'd love an explanation on what exactly about the game doesn't qualify as full controller support.

They are shipping Steam games that are sewn together with Uplay into a Frankensteinian horror-show. Do you really think they care about some tags on the store front? Can they nag Ubisoft?

50% for existing owners + 10% launch preorder.
I mean I bet most people probably angry about it not being free..but it is a different dev and pub..which both are reputable.
SAO is literal trash though.PC survived Naruto, I'm sure it can survive a better anime like SAO.
SAO is literal trash though.
I would disagree. I would say the Story is not really done well in SAO, but I always liked the worldbuilding.

Is there really no way to gift anything from Canada to the US now?
I'm getting
"Due to regional price differences, the gift you are trying to send cannot be sent to the recipient's region."
Depends on the price of the game you are trying to gift. If it's more than 10% then you can't do it.
This is some dumb shit. Just charge me a fair exchange rate so I can pay the 50 cents more to get past that 10% limit.
