The Switch 2 will popular enough where they will make a new Monster Hunter designed around it's hardware the same way Switch 1 got Rise.
I could see them doing both. Capcom already talked to Nintendo about this game years ago. No reason to think Switch 2 wasn't designed to run these games in mind (esp with use of DLSS)

People also were convinced World could be and was going to be ported to the Switch. Wilds is tremendously CPU bound. DLSS isn’t going to help with that, no matter what resolution they’re reconstructing from.

It's called optimization and DLSS would help in other areas of development

Switch 2 launch title for sure.

If it plays THIS well on the portal imagine how great it will be in mouse mode on the S2.

(practicing my trap baiting for wilds right now...)

What a bizarre comment.

Are you saying that playing Monster Hunter Wilds anywhere I choose is a bad thing!?
I mean, it does what it does well?
No theyre saying the comparison is just glazing, (because it is)

no shit a 10.5tflop console streaming to a small screen is going to outdo a portable 2.1tflop handheld. Theres absolutely nothing ‘surprising’ about that.

The PS Portal is a beast
It is so beast that it skips frames and microstutters even after I changed my router to a good one and connected PS5 to Ethernet. Before you say, but it was updated, it didn't do jackshit. The issues are very noticable when playing 2D games.

You can say that the Deck is shit, etc. But I doubt that even Switch 2 will be that more powerful than it. Compatability issues are major flaw of the Deck while the rest of the package is a steal compared to PS Portal.

I doubt it. I’m betting there will be a new title announced this year for Switch 2 and released next year. They have 2 teams for this.
