Ah, unfortunate.
The HDD requirement is 4GB so it'll be no more than ~3.5GB with the download being smaller still. The PS3 version is approximately 2GB.
Check to see if the box has "For PS4, PS TV, and PS Now" labeling rather than just "For PS4" . Over on the problem sticks thread, this is mentioned as being the more recent version.

2.9GB when I downloaded it the day before yesterday and it only received a 20mb patch yesterday, so probably still the same.
Google says 3.82GB.

Was there ever any resolution to that one Steam member which continually posted a short video of Need for Speed on Greenlight with the description that the footage was from a computer with a Celeron Processor?

The first game. I'm a bit particular in how I play game so American Nightmare is still in the backburner for now. Thanks to card money, I can hopefully buy. And everyone can now have that Ikaruga deal you all have been waiting for.
But I am actually waiting for it to go on sale. Seriously, heard nice things about it but I haven't started it.
