Here are some that I run on a surface pro 2. The tablet is surprisingly capable. It's the battery draining too quickly that tends to be the bigger problem for me than actually running the games.

and Well I enjoyed Shadow of Mordor a lot, but I realized as good as it is. It's a lot like the first Assassin's Creed game where the combat and mechanic were excellent but the quests were a bit underutilized and uninspired. I feel like if they ever come out with Shadow of Mordor 2, it would hopefully be a lot better. Like how Assassin's Creed 2 was a major upgrade to the original.

That's why I ranked TWAU 1st. I almost forgot but special mention for Dragon Age Inquisition. It's a shame it's not a Steam game. Otherwise it would be 2nd on my list.

Speaking of games trapped on 360... come on, Ska Studios, I know you hit some snags on porting The Dishwasher to PC, but I really need your games in my Steam library. <3

My avatar is *actually* me, if that's what you mean -- it is Real Pic January after all... and I realized I had a pic from awhile back that was very similar to my Ruvik avatar... so I hopped in on the "fun".

Also: Hahahaha @ AC2 being a "major upgrade". I've 'platinumed' that game twice (fuck my OCD tendencies and the transition to trophies from achievements... when I switched gears and my friend had it and nothing interesting had been coming out, I went through it again just for another platinum...). I'm with JaseC on this -- AC1 is where it's at.

So this is the first time I see a Steam livestream o_O

Works too poorly to watch, even the sound cuts off for many seconds at a time. Not my connection's fault as even Youtube 1080p60 stream runs perfectly. OTOH no one else in the chat was having any problems. Maybe Steam doesn't have enough streaming infrastructure this side of the world yet (Scandinavia)?

I wonder what's the ratio of developers that actually want to create ero games vs those that add sex scenes to their games because they feel it's a requirement to sell.

I would say most VNs, at least not the nukige ones, handle sex scenes often in a far better way than we see nowadays on TV or in some western games.
Often far more innocent, romantic and cute.

the version streamer is using is the steam version , but he swapped the files with the +18 version

Because it was submitted for ratings and got an M. Hentai games, if they want to keep their catgirl fucking, would have to do the same, and they know they would not pass, so they don't bother. Valve doesn't feature AO games, and most of the ones that get cut to make it on Steam would likely end up AO.

Then why dont the publishers just release a Patch for the games on their website. Afaik Sekaiproject intends to do that with the full Sunrider Game in the future.

It can be okay if the game is actually rated as such.

Most of these indie/doujin VNs don't have a proper rating (which I'd assume is an AO just going by the descriptions in these posts). Most devs don't want to/don't have the money to fund a rating. So they create a censored version, and leave a readily accessible backdoor available to anyone who wants to do a bit of research.

Basically Valve is covering their asses by not allowing explicit content on a game that isn't appropriately rated as such.

EDIT: Like the guy above said, AO games on Steam is a huge no-no.
