I figured I'd wait for everyone else's extra copy giveaways to calm down before I tossed mine into the fray. It's a great game.

It's not quite tetris. The best I can explain is that it's like rubbing your stomach and patting your head at the same time.

You need to drop the correct pieces of the castle in the right spot and also defend your castle with the right defense mechanism.

It's unique and the later levels hurt my brain.

I love that description but It kind of sounds like it may be a great tablet/mobile game.

I am gonna watch that video when I get on my puter. Thanks for the impressions

Also if you call BoF DQ clones... I think you need to replay first DQs to remember how they play and understand how hilariously wrong you are (><)

I replayed the first DQ game yearly each Christmas for quite a while.
BoF is a DQ clone, not DQ1, but it does remind me of the second game the most.
Being a DQ clone is not a bad thing in my book, mind you

OTOH BoF2 has horrible translation, probably the worst ever and I remember you being really picky about that, so consider yourself warned

It's strange you decided to drop it, tho, seeing as it is a short game and you are in for another record on played games this year!

Still thinking about it, the amount of random battles does decrease my enjoyment of the game though. :\
Also, HLTB pegs the game at 30 hours, that's not short?

Well, I know what the "2 entrants" means, but I entered for the the game after the raffle was finished. It wasn't taken and I did want it so I entered for the game.

As far as I understand the raffle business after it's finished, I should be the only contestant, right? But somehow it says: "2 entrants total"

How can that be and why did he not get it because he must have entered before me.

It's the second time I noticed that, the first time was even more curious:

This. It's just how modbot works. It still counts those who are ineligible as entrants, but Stump could probably tell you more about it.

MGR was just a great game, and executing perfect parries was just so satisfying. Really the most fun I had playing a game in a long time. Soundtrack was damm stellar, and how the music was mixed ( I guess that's what you would call it) during boss fights was amazing. Only buffoons would hate that sweet soundtrack. There were a lot of great games released last year, so coming up with my picks was mad hard. Nahh it was actually easy to pick.

Pffft. Fuck the term "perfect parry". But your list is pretty AmazingBalls®.

Edit: Booster creator is still there if you follow the direct link, but clicking the link on the gems doesn't seem to do anything any more. My guess is they are just transitioning the interface and either fucked something up or disabled it temporarily. Wonder if the background prices will drop in the meantime...
