STEAM | January 2015 - Steam GOTY results: Delayed

I still have fond memories of the first Assassin's Creed and learning the cities, taking the time to do the side missions to listen to the clues, and getting to the point where I could find my way to wherever the mission pictures indicated without ever using the map. So glad the game allows one to turn off the mini-map and other such "aids".
Oh I couldn't play more than an hour when I tried revisiting the game, finding it hard to return to it after Brotherhood and Revelations in terms of variety, mechanics, and combat, but I still love the cities of the Holy Land (and wooden Optimus Prime) because I can still easily get around them far more than the disjointed Italian towns or the broken up chain of islands which demand a map for me.
Not that I'm really one to speak over which game is better, 1 or 2, as my favourite game in the franchise is Assassin's Creed II: Discovery and that's a side scroller with lineal levels.

Sometime between now and September. It's more a "when it feels complete" than a specific target date is what I got from the reps at PAX.

I'm going for the O6S and attempt to do a full watercooling loop for the GPU and CPU. I've been eyeballing these since they were announced. I might go with the MINI ITX O5, take the drive bays out, fit a full GPU in there and have a console sized graphical power house that's easily portable. But the huge glass case really screams "Watercooling!"
These cases are damn expensive. The mini-ITX O5 non-watercool model goes for $290 and the O7S will be about $420. The whole thing is aluminum (no cheap plastic) except for the tempered glass.

For some reason, be it a bug or on purpose, we can no longer craft gems out of cards, emoticons, and backgrounds. So for that reason, people are buying them out of future rarity and the fact Booster Pack Creator still works.

Reinstalled Warframe and played a bit tonight, it feels like a totally different game, I'm really impressed with what they did to it visually and gameplay wise.
Is it still more fun to race through the recycled levels than actually fight?

I don't know I had a fun time using a bow which I didn't know was in the game, and a sweet ass staff, the combat feels really great overall, the dashing and sliding and stuff is really well done so I'm sure speedrunning the level would be fun too.
Weird, it was down earlier and then came back. Have to think they are working on it in some fashion and one would assume it will be back sooner rather than later. I'm a little tempted to sell if the price keeps going up though.
Ooh I don't think they had those when I played...maybe the bow I don't remember. Overall I found the game got old pretty quickly as most levels felt the same and the combat just got so monotonous. Which is odd since you could do some cool stuff with the movement mechanics.
I feel like I'm not alone in this as most everyone that I played with raced through each level (that you could race through) and complained when someone was lagging behind.
Edit: I think they had those weapons but the amount of hours needed to grind for those was ridiculous.

You might want to visit your family physician. Please uninstall STEAM in the meantime just to be safe, tell your girlfriend about the problem as it may be contagious. Explain that you didn't know and you wouldn't have done it with her had you known, try and ease her into it. This is a serious, serious problem..
Hah. A quick look on Amazon showed that the pads are pretty cheap. I think I'll place an order for 1, see if it's any good, then follow up with a second.

It seems strangely ok with almost every form of violence though. People somehow argue that children are on steam too, ignoring that Steam has already lots of adult games with violence that need age verification. Of course that thing is a joke, but people didn't complain about that with aĺl the violent games. God forbid showing people consentual sex.

Man, I hate... HATE... HATE... the character of Harkyn.
Lords of the Fallen is a solid game. I feel like it's worth the $20 I paid for it.
However, I think he's ugly and would rather put a cool helmet on him... so I do.
And then every time I hit a story scene or beat a boss or converse with someone (or anything non gameplay) they instantly remove my helmet and I have to look at his stupid space marine playing Dark Souls face (BUT WITH TATTOOS ON HIS FACE! EDGY!) .
Also, some of the achievments are buggy or have bad descriptions. :\

That's even worse. Although I guess Visual Novel sex scenes are on a different level (or is Witcher really THAT juicy?). Either way Steam needs to grow up out of this childish "ihihi sex".
You can create your own character with any fighting style, hair, faces and different costume parts, you can marry and have children, different weather and generally a conquest mode, if I am not wrong. I was a bit disappointed by 8 Extreme, because I was missing the personal character and the actual conquering.

Busy with work to telly up results maybe this weekend and the award ceremony on Saturday 17th around 9pm GMT maybe.
The other games on Steam, including the witcher series, don't visually depict penetration. Which going from the Everlasting Summer email is the issue Steam has with VNs.
