Lol, dont worry, they will all come. Its mangagamer, I have no doubt that games are making profit.Oh hey, remember those 14 chapters of Higurashi Mangagamer promised to release?
Yeah... I don't think we'll even see the third one. Pity.

Actually, nobody can see me, as I live on 13th floor. ^_^
Worst thing is that there was nothing interesting in one of those caves. I really felt bad after i killed bear and explored cave just to find nothing except coin stash and some crafting material
Then there is no use for curtains. Just buy the Witness (Or better yet, XCOM 2 if you didn't do it already), get rid of your pants and start playing. #FreeTheDonger
I can't remember, but you're from Denmark aren't you? If so, join our OT.

A very exciting update
Rain World is now a 100% playable game, with a (gorgeous) menu, saving, progression. First round of polish is done for all 12 regions. Gates are functional and spiffed up with some new visual effects, UI is looking surprisingly good, in-game map is complete and has had some nice polish. ITS HAPPENING GUYS
Hmm, so no online Multiplayer for ROTTR. I wonder if it will come later like for MGSV and DOA5 on PC. Does the XBox One/ XBox 360 versions have online (or planned one)?
Actually, nobody can see me, as I live on 13th floor. ^_^
As far as you know.
why we are still in January thread when it's February already?
that was a rhetorical question
New thread will be up tonight.
Maybe.
talking about Stardew Valley, it has some sort of multi, so I need to know who besides me and Panda are picking it day one, kindly inform us!
yeah, I've seen that, hence a rhetorical question
thanks anyway
I haven't followed the development of Stardew Valley, but it looks interesting. Have they decided the price yet?

Dang, what a month, we are gettin Stardew Valley, finally!
and possible FF9, not to mention Disgaea. I already feel broke. Good I decided to wait with XCOM2, as if I knew. I kinda did.
edited: Higurashi sales are sad, true, but it could sell better when all episodes are released, because many people wait for all episodes to be released, otoh in Higurashi case that makes no sense, as every chapter is a self sustained VN, sorta.
I just hope that all the years we waited for Stardew Valley to be worth it.
People really overstimate the cost of those things . mangagamer is a sucessful business bringing over hundreds of VNs without needing to sell several thousand units to make a profit.VNs dont need to sell 20.000 to be popular. Sekai Project was totally happy when Clannad had 8000 owners and that game has far more lines to translate than a Higurashi episode.

Higurashi sales are fine, and the translation of new chapters will go well too. No need to panic.
What happened to the other Harvest Moon like game that was recently released? I don't remember the name.
Was it a successful game?
I don't get your point, what that has to do with anything?
One of the best VNs on steam is selling literally nothing, Amnesia outright bombed. How's that "no need to panic". There are so many higher profile VNs that I want, Steins Gate for one, and those sales aren't encouraging, like at all.
edited: I understand that VNs are pretty new to steam crowd, and they may not even know what Higurashi is, for example, but it's still sad state of affairs.
The sales are fine. If mangagamer couldnt do profit on releases with <1000 units sold they wouldn't even exist right now lol, thats how they operate.I don't get your point, what that has to do with anything?

But its true that VNs dont need to sell much. If SP is overwhelmed by 8000 sales of Clannad, why would 6000 sales of Higurashi 2 be bad?
Another thing about Higurashi is, that it has how many episodes? 14? I think people wait till at least one arc is out till they buy it.

The games are niche, and they make a profit. There's zero you need to panic about , Steins Gate is coming, Danganronpa is coming too and that will sell a shitton.
Sometimes I wish steamspy wasn't a thing because now everyone thinks if a game doesn't sell 100k it can't be sucessful or profitable.
it has to be, we waited so long!
especially after Wild Season turned to be such a disappointment...

You're saying you are worries that other VNs won't come because of Higurashi sales, which makes basically no sense at all.because Higurashi is very good. I'm not saying that 6K is bad for mangagamer, as I don't know, I just say that for one of the best VNs on steam that's not much, is it?
yeah, hopefully people are waiting for other episodes to be released, we'll see.
I'm not talking about profit, duh

As a veteran peggler, i'm still mad that we do not have a PC version of Peggle 2.
EA pls.

I recommend daily deal, btw, for that price it is a steal.
They seem to be selling fine. Its a niche series in a niche genre. Stop expecting 500k sales out of everything just because its good.good games don't sell? No problem at all! It's what you are saying
yet I make no sense?
whatever floats your boat
don't mention it, or I'll cry
edited: also fixed for accuracy
edit2: can we get back in time and stop EA from buying PopCap maybe?

The only thing you should care about is if its selling enough to justify bring more of them. Which it is.
Once again, and I already told you several times: if Mangagamer had issues with selling low thousands of units they wouldn't exist.and you know this how exactly?
and should I remind you Sakura sales?
jeez man, let it go. I get it, you don't care either way, stop telling me everything is fine, because it isn't.
make me!Once again, and I already told you several times: if Mangagamer had issues with selling low thousands of units they wouldn't exist.
Guess what: it is fine, games will continue to come and all is fine. Stop overreactong just because niche games dont sell 100k
Please don't make him talk more.

By the way, I thought about asking about this for a long time now: what the hell is "Higurashi When They Cry" supposed to mean?
So I was poking around astats and... well... I'm not sure the implications of this:
Btw guys Marvel Heroes just had their 2016 relaunch. New story chapter, all the characters have had a review with Deadpool being the last. It's f2p so check it out maybe?
