that'd suck but i guess if the porting is really complicated it has to make sense for them
it's too big of a project and the day-1 audience just really isn't there for it i guess.

Seriously, the intelligence here plummets to astonishing levels when XSEED is involved.
Dammit. I missed a sunless sea free weekend? Ugh. I've been on the fence about the game forever. I wish steam emailed you for free weekend of games on your wishlist instead of just sales.
OK some posts in here are making my head hurt so I'll speak up a bit:
1) XSEED is not porting Senran Kagura to Steam. That's being done by a 3rd party hired by Marvelous Japan. LKS port is being contracted out by XSEED, which they can do because the original developer and IP holder is dead.
2) Trails in the Sky SC is over twice the size of FC and required over double the amount of effort to localize from scratch. The $30 price is justified and lowering it to $20 would have resulted in the exact same sales with less revenue due to its sequel status and the whole investment done by backloggers.
3) As people have said many times, Falcom decides everything in regards to its own content and if XSEED doesn't play ball then Falcom will walk away. They've said this many times and have hinted that's how quite a few Japanese companies operate because they are very protective of their company's work/assets.

So we got Skyrim dude, Power Armour wanderer, Safe Head from TEW, no idea (BJ Blazkowicz maybe?), a Cacodemon from Doom, no idea again (end boss from The New Order?), Corvo from Dishonored and again no idea. Guess Brink is one of Bethesda franchises that's dead then.
hmm. What will they unveil tho? Fallout 4 DLC? Elder Scrolls VI?
Last year they had like 4 new reveals. No way they do that again right? Bethesda going ham.

_/¯Didn't Bethesda said that their goal was to show games on E3 that will be released in next year (until next E3)? If i remember correctly and that is true then there won't be Doom or Dishonored 2 this year. There is still time for both of those games to be released before E3.

Seeing as they pretty much own Tango Gameworks now, and considering that's made up of not just Mikami but plenty of other ex Capcom staff, they're probably your best hope of getting anything new Dino Crisis related. Granted it would probably be a spiritual successor to avoid any IP infringment but hey that would be better than tears and disappointment right?

It had a decent marketing push, also it came out at the right time. Was early October so the holiday lineup was about to start but at that moment was dry.
I suppose, the problem is I didn't like TeW. So my opinion on them is pretty low right now.

They have almost 5 months so they could pull good pre-release campaign for Dish 2. Doom is already been tested so that game will be released for sure before E3.

With 5 months I don't see why they would need to push out two games. Let doom cover the summer. They're still making money off Fallout 3, so it's not like they need to crowd their releases. Even AC and Cod games get more than 5 months of marketing.
