YAAAS! The story was boring, but some of the characters were good and the battle system was really enjoyable especially once you ramped up the difficulty. Hubert and Cheria used to be really fun to play with also, everyone had pretty great movelists except for maybe Pascal.

I bet even if BoF V was released as a PC game today it would be recieved quite well. I't a great game, people just expected something else.

I hope so. The more JRPGs that sell, the closer we get to the foretold future of Sega and Atlus the releasing the MegaTen franchise on PC.

I think Grandia II was released on PC, and I've heard good things about it. Wonder if it could ever see a Steam release. Also glad to see that Marco talked about it too while I compiled this post

Since we're talking about Tales of games, I don't think I can really say much other than Symphonia is the best I've played of them. Didn't have that much fun with its sequel, Phantasia, and the Abyss. I guess I'd buy Symphonia if it ever came to PC, but that's pretty much it.

This is my grievance as well. I suppose it'd sell on the basis of the added cutscenes, though The Silver Star seems to play better. Goes without saying that there'd need to be a new localization.

Breath of Fire IV on PC sounds interesting, but good luck getting Capcom to care.

A few drive manufacuter do their own which sometimes has additional features. Clonezilla gets a good rep from a few places I stick my head in to as does EaseUS.

mine too, only problem I had with it, it ran like shit, now if we would have it on PC and it could run smoothly and without constant loading... although, I still prefer gameplay of ToG to any Tales game to date.
And it is totally OT, as Tales aren't coming to steam ever, at least I don't see it happening.

There's tons of Windows-compatible Japanese PC games either in or deserving to be added and voted for on GOG. Right now, the general site wish for more Japanese games has climbed into the most active per votes per week category.

Each and every time some B-tier jRPG (no offense meant to Ghostlight, and I'm being generous here stating Idea Factory makes B-tier games) gets released on Steam it pretty much dominates the sales ranking for a few days with close to no advertisement.

How can you not take notice of that? Seriously...

Speaking of Ghostlight, I'm still waiting for Elminage Gothic. I hope it release by the end of the year.

It's definitely frustrating seeing Japanese companies practically ignore PC for mobile and handheld platforms. It's slowly getting better for PC as a whole though, there are more and more niche titles being localized in the future.
