The lead writer for Fallout 4 is the same Fallout 3 and Skyrim so...don't set high expectations.

Two possibilities exist: either they decided, when making Skyrim, "hey let's make relationships lame so people will be really surprised when we make them good in Fallout 4," or they did the best they could. Either way, I'm sure they'll do their best.

yeah but obsidian's plate is kinda full now, i kinda don't expect they'll make a full fallout anytime soon. best we can hope for is a NV spinoff VN dating sim where you play as Fisto.

I just put it on the win7 HTPC, and after the upgrade, it CANNOT see the onboard NIC, and you CANNOT get drivers without getting on the internet, apparently. Well done, fuckmooks. /s

i actually find the guards random behaviour pretty interesting. it was meant to try and force you out of waiting for patrol patterns and get you more involved by distracting them and crap but i feel like it only kind of half works and ends up being a bit frustrating

it's the one thing that i found really interesting about the game

yeah, tbh, i'd much rather this, although obviously can't deny the appeal of full 3d rendered of like my favorite series is something i can always look forward to

like, i don't mind the fixed isometric thing and i appreciate what it allows developers to do, but i don't really prefer it

also i think i'd rather obs did their own thing rather than just project eternity: post apoc edition

actually i dont care much about language or whatever, it's just that use of the word that really annoys me

like having a relationship with a character is like a checkbox you unlock and it's done, it's a really crappy way rpgs have systemized character relationships that i find kind of disturbing, really

Kinda surprising that the Witcher feels mostly original when it's pretty much entirely not. It's got elves, it's got dwarves, it's got a setting that is largely made by pasting together every fairy and folk tale ever.

well i feel it's cos it makes everything interesting through good writing and good visual design (probably sound too, but i dont understand much about that)
