SEGA Mega Drive & Genesis Classics workshop is amazing there are rom hacks of Mario Brothers, Donkey Kong Country, Megaman, Duke 3D, Wolfenstein, SF2, Battletoads and Double Dragon, Outrun not to mention all the Sonic romhacks out there.

Sonic Mania could be cool. Hopefully they give Sonic Generations 2 better music and no shitty blank hub.

I'm probably the only person in the world who would like the SATURN version of Sonic 3D Blast on PC.

There are new Sonic games coming out next year.

Watching that stream kinda caused my brain to get scattered into the four winds.

But yeah, porting multiplatform games to PC is the most basic expectation from a publisher. So this port initiative doesn't even warrant a golf clap.

I've heard that the comic are in fact pretty good, but I got that info from a Sonic fan himself so take it as you will :p

I'm pretty stoked about the new entries in the franchise. I'm not personally fond of the 2D division but if gonna please a bigger public so be it, but "Generations 2" has a lot of potential to iron the kinks of the former game and actually be great. Just wished they had announced some ports, I still plan on beating all games in the franchise
because I'm an idiot of a higher magnitude and deserve a painful death
, and having so many games thrown on random platforms doesn't help.

Yes I know it is short and the dungeons aren't that big but I got lost for a good 5 minutes before I realized where the door to the next floor was in Rastin Mine @_@

Great game though and Vagullion wasn't that hard this time around :V

Do you mean I am Setsuna? The game can't even keep 60fps at a resolution of 1920x1080 on a 970. And even at 1280x720, if played full screen, it won't stay 60fps. I gotta play it windowed at 720 to get 60fps.
The wonders of off-the-shelf engines: they suck balls when they're called Unity.

It keeps like locked 120 FPS for me and it doesn't even wake up my GPU, it runs at like 800mhz.

It'll keep going between 44 and 57 for me at any resolution other than windowed 720p, at which point it's 60fps locked.
Same setup (i5 2500K, 970, 8GB ram) plays DOOM at 60fps locked with stuff at high.

Insane sound design. I can't think of a game that outclasses it. I love how it both serves as a way to make to game scarier, but is also the most reliable tool in tracking the Alien's behaviour or location.

Alien was really good, but I enjoyed the atmospheric sound-design much more in Dead Space 1 and 2.

Still can't get above 8fps on Prototype 2. Probably should have looked at the reviews that said it's an AMD no go zone. Going green with my next computer.

Wouldn't that just be the original physical PC version? They should just fix it up and bundle it on Steam. I do like the Richard Jacques soundtrack to that game if nothing else.

Game ran fine for me at 60 FPS when I played it :/
The rare, if any, disparity between GFX cards running games is lame.

Is Sonic Generations 2, like the TNG equivalent of Sonic? Like, some french Sonic played by a British actor is taking over as Sonic? I would be okay with that.

No, it lacked the screen effects from the Saturn version and the special stages sucked.

Nah, that doesn't really make a lot of sense since they're also doing what's basically a Sonic Generations 2.

IMO the worry is more that they're trying to please everyone and still have no clear idea where they're going with this franchise.
