Just picked up Tropico 5 for 1tf key on Steam trades.
Super deal for a game out less than two weeks.
Should get a good few hours out of it over the summer.

Man I hate to say this, but it sounds like you might have gotten scammed. 1 key for Tropico 5 is too low, meaning the person that sold it to you lost money on the deal.
Well, no, if it's a 4pack opening they can still sell the other parts of the pack at regular price and profit.

It's common for people to make these trades using games purchased with stolen credit cards. If that ends up being the case, Steam will remove it from your account automatically. If you did the trade directly in Steam, you might be able to contact support and have them reverse it if that happens to you.
Be careful. If it sounds too good to be true. It is. Might be something peculiar going on
Another GAFer got one for a key because of that but I don't quite understand why they make it so cheap when the trader could get the full price for every game in the 4 pack.
Also RU doesn't have a 4 pack anymore.
Appreciate the concern guys and am usually very wary of scammers on steamtrades, but I think I used the same trader that some other guy in this thread mentioned, grief.exe I think was his username.
He has +170 rep with lots from long time traders and the likes from 6 months ago also so not a new account.
The key was for unpacking a 4pack trade, which is why im guessing the insane low price.
If it is a scam, its only 1.50 im out of pocket anyway.
that's pretty much how TW2's shadows look
it drives me crazy sometimes
Masterpiece tag on Geetav? really?

Ah perfect thank you!
I've been staring the screen an inch apart for hours now, because I thought there was something wrong with it (first heavy game on my new led monitor after years of lcd)...
Anyway, holy crap it is annoying when shadows move.
PS: unless technology sprung 5 years in the future since last time I checked, your 'LED monitor" is still LCD based.
LED is only the back light technology.
magic chest? twinkling titanite? who who with the what now?
I've been waiting so long to get unbanned to let everyone know that they need to play Astebreed and Crimzon Clover. Definitely games worth having in you're library of you're a Shmup fan.
Eets Munchies got cards.
So yeah, that is a thing now.
A lost son returns. And tells us stuff we already know.

Good man. That's an excellent way to reintroduce yourself to the brood.I've been waiting so long to get unbanned to let everyone know that they need to play Astebreed and Crimzon Clover. Definitely games worth having in you're library of you're a Shmup fan.
Yes, but does that make it any less necessary to say? Like saying "Don't steal from others" or "Be careful when crossing a busy road", his post is eternal wisdom. Don't diss it.A lost son returns. And tells us stuff we already know.
Sorry if it has been asked, but Far Cry 2 from GMG doesn't redeem on Steam at all does it?
In the control settings you can turn on an alternate, more Street Fighter-like control scheme. I didn't use it myself, so I'm not sure how much that'll help you.anyone else with Injustice experience? the dash is throwing me off real bad
it's super slow and leaves you really exposed
reason im asking is cause it makes it feel like input lag, you're doing 3 hits in what seems like the right frame but the game only registers the last one
guess that's just the way the game is? this is gonna be hard to get used to
also I really need to mod this stick, dem diagonal jumps working 80 percent of the time
All Ubisoft games redeem on Uplay, with the exception of CoJ Gunslinger and South Park
Just posted this in the GTA thread, but thought I would post here too since it is pretty funny
Looks like Gatling Gears is coming back to Steam soon as it now has Steam achievements. Used to be EA/Origin login on Steam before it was delisted.

Played for about an hour. Oddly enough, I didn't like the demo of the original that much when I played, but some reason, I'm really enjoying this new version. There's a layer of strategy underneath the run and gun gameplay that I'm finding really cool. Which gun is best for the current situation, should I rush for that power-up but risk having to run through a horde to reach it, which order should I use power-ups, which perks should I choose? The visuals are great, the effects and weapons are cool, and screen just gets flooded with enemies. Seeing the screen literally turn red with blood and gore is very satisfying. I only think Infested Planet tops this game in terms of enemies on-screen at one time.

I think the coolest aspect is how the varied enemies require you to totally change your tactics and influences the weapons and perks you'd want to use. It's not like some shooters where you can just get the most powerful weapon and kill everything.
If you're facing fast spiders that replicate when they die, then you're going to want a weapon that's accurate and precise but that fires and reloads fast enough that they won't close the gap, and power-ups that focus on crowd control and defense. Hordes of zombies? You'll want to go for the spray and pray type weapons or explosives and all-out offensive power-ups.
I haven't even touched the survival modes that much so I haven't really tested out any perks. The campaign alone is fun and difficult and constantly throwing fresh challenges at you, with interesting combinations of enemies
Guys I need someone telling me I'm not crazy or blind or something.
I'm playing Witcher 2, and I've noticed that in areas with complicated lightings, surfaces with "half shadows" look dithered like old school gifs.
I have resized the area at 300% with nearest neighbor to best show the effect.
Is it how it is supposed to be or there's something wrong here?
I'm playing with everything set at ultra (except ubersampling, turned off to double the framerate), gamma and brightness both at 5 (medium value).
I just finished Shelter, and my reaction at the end
This actually reminds me of something that has bothered me for a few years.
A similar phenomenon can be seen in the original Deus Ex when using Direct X as a renderer. You can see the same thing as in the pictures you show, but there is a specific pattern that looks like the windows file icon from win 3.1, and its in another box. It's faint, but all over the screen.
Why?!
I like feels games. Will have to check Shelter out then
I've never really called about or dealt with cards/badges. I assume the general consensus is start selling the Mystery cards now, and towards the end of the sale buy them again (assuming you want the badges) when the market crashes?
Origin going the way of the dodo confirmed.
Far Cry 2 predates Uplay (you'll notice that the GMG page for FC2 mentions GMG's own Capsule as a requirement). Also, it's just easier to say "All internally-developed Ubi games since AssCreed 2 use Uplay, with the exception of Rayman Origins" since Call of Juarez and South Park aren't the only examples of externally-developed Ubi games that redeem on Steam.
