What is SteamGAF's favorite gaming mouse? I'm trying to decide between the DeathAdder 2013 (I'd prefer more extra buttons), Steelseries Rival (probably too big) and the Roccat Kone Pure Optical. Going by other mouse threads the Steelseries Sensei is highly regarded here but I like my mouse non-ambidextrous and without buttons on the right.

im currently using the deathadder. its alright i guess. Its pretty good for a budget mouse though. Razer products had always lasted at least 2 years for me.

Thanks, already got it worked out.

I was actually wondering what was the quickest way to tally all Modbot giveaways in steam threads, The easiest way seemed to be using the Neogaf search tool for text that modbot spouts out when doing a giveaway but I get repeat results from people quoting or bumping their posts. Mainly these threads:

6656 people have given away 18762 claimed and not nuked games.

Yeah, the old MS mice were great, immediately bought the Microsoft IntelliMouse 1.0 which was afair the first widely available optical mouse. And I had a G5 years ago which has the same form as the 518. But while I don't have many complaints about the G9 that I've used during the last five years I want to try something non-Logitech this time.

Hahaha that's pretty much the same excuse as me. Everytime my MX518 went funny Logitech just sent me a new one. When it started double clicking and squealing about a month ago I bought a Sensei just for a change. It's a nice mouse and has a great feel to it but it's not the tallest mouse. While I don't have huge palms I do have long fingers so to get a good grip my palm is almost off the mouse entirely. It's one of those things with all mice I've found I have to try them out for myself to see how they fit regardless of other peoples recommendations.

I use a cooler master storm spawn because I have small hands and fingertip grip. Still a bit too large though. Only real negatives are the lack of free scroll and that the mouse doesn't save bindings for individual games. (Logitech mice let you do this IIRC)

You should check out Corsair's line of mice then. They were far too small for my big hands and I had to switch.

I use a SteelSeries Sensei Raw, and it's pretty good.

Always interesting to know, and the generosity of GAF never ceases to surprise.

Of course, the only way to celebrate this is with another Giveaway.

I'm in the nice people list? I'm not so nice, there must be a mistake, ModBot hitting on me or something?

speaking of ARMA 3, i can't get into the series. the controls are too complicated imo and the gameplay is too realistic. I guess it just isn't for me

Try the Altis Life and King of the Hill mods. They look amazing.

Wish I could buy it off your hands right now.

Steel Series mice look interesting but my local Amazon showroom doesn't carry them so I can't find out how they fit my hand before they buy them.
