I haven't bought a single game from Steam this sale. Hopefully the Winter Sale will feel more exciting than this one.

nah gems were bad too much work. The best was the summer seal where they had achievements that you had to get each day in different games that were on sale and then you unlocked things like free games or hats. It definitely made me buy games I normally wouldn't to get the achievements so it was good for Valve on that front. I still have the summer glasses.

Better so, it was ugly.
Cutscenes are more taxing than general gameplay, but other than that I wouldn't say performance is egregiously inconsistent.

I wish there had been more of a bundle discount on the Assassin's Creed Pack. I might have been likely to jump on that one had it been a bit cheaper.

Liberation is inexcusably dumb IMO, but Unity/Rogue is the first time they dropped the price that low. I think only a month or so ago did Ubi finally lower the MSRP for both Rogue and Unity from 60$ to 30$.
I dunno I get a lot of hours out of AC games and I generally enjoy them even though I don't get them day 1. So yeah, I'm one of those suckers that will be buying it.
Naaaaaah. Gems were fucking awesome. Preordering Subnautica for 3$, getting very expensive never discounted games for 4$.... man, it was fucking amazing.
So FFXIII, it's pretty dope. Lake breshna is beautiful and the combat is really enjoyable. Sad that the game is pretty much only hallways up until this point. (I'm a bit after lake breshna, maybe 2 hours after).
Reading peoples impression of the game doesn't make me more optimistic about hallways changing though.
Also lightning sucks, sorry lightning lovers. The only guy keeping his cool is sazh and his wonderful afro chocobo nest.
Like seriously everyone else is acting really immature, it's understandable with the two kids hope and vanille but it's goddamn disgraceful to act like that by Snow and Lightning.
The bossfights has been pretty great, at least it feels satisfying and the story isn't complete dogshit yet.
Nice use of that GIF.
Gotta use it before it gets really popular.

For Vanille max out her SAB role first.
SAB role is one of the strongest in the game and by mid to late game you can decimate bosses using SAB+RAV+COM team.

ah thanks, I start my battles with a com+syn+sab. after everything is buffed I change over to a com+rav+rav team. I'll try your out, I've been leveling vanilles SAB mostly so shouldn't be a problem.
Tidus is better than Lightning, at least if she doesn't get better soon. 6 hours in and I can't feel anything for her not even sympathy.
But both of those are bad, give me basch instead.

Everyone knows that Bartz is the true OG, he just stands around and says nothing like a boss, while he watches an intergalactic Oak tree try to destroy the known universe. He also defeats Gilgamesh a whopping 4 times over the course of the game. How many times has Lightning defeated Gilgamesh? Not even once!

VI is coming to Steam soon. You can finally rectify that and play the best FF.

Seriously though, if you find yourself enjoying XIII you owe it to yourself to play some of the older games in the series.
