For years I've been trying to tell people about Sid Meier's Gettysburg, which UGG is basically a remake of. I'm glad someone out there remembered it, and not just remembered it but made what is essentially a spiritual successor.
I'd buy it right now, but I have so many games to finish that I might as well wait and see what happens in the sale.

Personally don't use that site so much anymore since:
- most gifs are quite "old" from the viewpoint of someone who follows the "gif scene" a bit, lol. I try to find something fresh.

And then I also have a bookmarks folder with stored gif URLs that I came across anywhere else across the internet.
It's something I recently started but it's steadily growing.

I was literally thinking about bringing this gif up again in my post here above.
Because that was actually a gif I had laying around for a long time but I never dared to post it. But then a comment/situation arised where the gif would be perfect. And well, the rest is history.
Yeah, that gif appeared I think on the /r/gaming subreddit. I saved it in the mentioned bookmarks folder so I can't tell for sure but think it was there.

I hope this works with Youtube videos since I recently wanted to make a gif from a hilarious Saint's Row 3 segment but the conversion site didn't work.

It makes sense - I see people getting duped all the time trading for games purchased by credit card scammers. This should prevent games being traded away and later revoked which (although it never happened to me personally) I guess is a real hassle for a lot of people. This is just another "we have to do this to protect people from themselves" for those users who think you really can get that copy of Day Z for 2 keys.
It'll be interesting to see what effect this has on TF2 key trading.

If I had to guess, I'd say that these situations were probably pretty common and were also a huge support nightmare (manually reversing trades, etc). With any luck this new system will work as intended and hopefully alleviate some key support personnel and free up their time to work on other important support issues.

Yep. It also means that games with short pre-order windows won't be available from cross-region traders on a game's release date, although ACRTAG being enabled by default pretty much already shattered that dream.

Yeah, I think this is partially protecting people from themselves, and partially protecting support from their stupid tickets
Still, this hasn't done anything to plug the reliable russian connections you just paypal money to... or scammers that ask for keys to be sent first, and then don't actually gift the game afterwards.
