The other handhelds better start using Steam OSShould be any handheld in general, but I guess it's hard for Steam to see the difference between a Windows handheld and a desktop PC.
For Deck owners this could be a godsend on how well the game runs. A small addition that could even encourage people getting a Deck if the reviews are consistency good.
Well, that AND the fact that "any handheld" could come with vastly different hardware settings, so the feature wouldn't really mean much.Should be any handheld in general, but I guess it's hard for Steam to see the difference between a Windows handheld and a desktop PC.
Yeah, it's super cool that Valve is continuing to add these QoL features to Steam for Steam Deck users. That's extremely helpful
Been gaming more on my Steamdeck than on my PC

Also, I'm really looking forward to snagging a Steam Deck 2 whenever Valve decides to launch it (probably in 2026).![]()
Hard to say, but my hope is Series S level of perf/graphics with around 3h of battery life in more demanding games.Do you think Steamdeck 2 will have PS5 Level Graphics?
