I'd be down.how about an AOE2 HD game night soon?
One of my gaming goals for 2014 was to beat the original campaign of every Doom game (1, 2, 64, 3), which I happily did. Now I'm going back to do Thy Flesh Consumed, the Ultimate Doom extra episode.
I'm really not feeling it. At all. Enemies spawn all over the place constantly. Every two steps, every switch, more and more monsters. It feels like I'm playing Painkiller instead of the mostly masterful enemy and level design I expect from early Doom.
I remember it being hard when I was young, but now it's just boring the shit out of me. Are there some great maps in here I should play through it for? I'm sure there's some Doom fans in this thread.
I can give him copons. He's in my basement -- you know, that thing that virtually zero Australian houses actually have.
Damn you I was just about to make that joke.

I hope one day I can buy a house where I can transform my basement into a man cave.Anyway, Jase don't take it personal, but I'd prefer Shadow's basement, as I'm pretty sure there are less odds it would end up being Shelob's lair.
Depending on your situation at the time, you could just make the whole house oneI hope one day I can buy a house where I can transform my basement into a man cave.
That just sounds like vanilla Doom II to me.I'm really not feeling it. At all. Enemies spawn all over the place constantly. Every two steps, every switch, more and more monsters. It feels like I'm playing Painkiller instead of the mostly masterful enemy and level design I expect from early Doom.
That link leads to your general profile page. :/
Marco, wishing that I'll stay single forever since 2014.Depending on your situation at the time, you could just make the whole house one
I'm on my phone but do you have a link to your review? :O I'm very interested in the game.Steam's been having issues tonight. My Costume Quest 2 review has been disappearing then reappearing all night.

His link leads to his review but, when those problems are present, it just leads to the general recommendations page. I'm guessing it has something to do with the community overhaul thing.

Also a quick giveaway.
Interesting, so that's why some random stuff like Farming Sim 2015 (;__ is region locked despite me doubting that the pub would even care. VolvoplsACRTAG is present and disabled by default as of about a month ago. The dev never actually got around to removing it as he'd promised:

Well, I just found out about this:
Surely the Japanese language track is a mistake... right?

It's a recent addition and likely a direct result of this 121-page thread.

no it isnt
thats why the ROW version is 49 to 60GB
the Asian version is only 30GB because it only contains japanese voices

Oh wow. Square-Enix listened.
I appreciate that some people feel it is important.
But fuck me, 50GB to play FF13 again? These are the choices we all face in life...
Yeah, the mistake was to add Japanese VA to the game
Legend of Grimrock is without doubt one of the best games I never actually bothered to play.
One day...
I loved it but was disappointed with how limiting the skill system is, something I hope is different in II. You have all these skills and, by the end of the game, enough points to maybe master one of them at the expense of everything else. I know part of the reason I enjoyed it so much is simply due to how rarely we get first-person dungeon crawlers, so I'm incredibly biased and willing to overlook its flaws. Legend of Grimrock II will also have outdoor areas and more varied environments, a la Might and Magic X, so I'm hyped.
Nah. The better approach would have been to make it free DLC but Japanese VA makes the game much more replayable since I don't have to listen to the weird English performances.

unless you speak Japanese you might as well just mute the game when people are talking, or turn down the voice volume in the options.

Nah. As someone who watches all media (including movies and games) subtitled in the original language whenever possible, my experience is that you can absolutely pick up emotional cues even if you don't speak a language.unless you speak Japanese you might as well just mute the game when people are talking, or turn down the voice volume in the options.
