Looks like this just released. However it's 18.99 which seems a bit much from what I see there. Also English isn't fully incorporated yet. Which is odd because all of the screen shots are english. Think it might just be a case of non-english speakers posting the same info from their greenlight page. Also apparently this is a all-ages version of a H-game? Wonder who here will be the first to try this, I see it on quite a few wishlists.

Is it me or does Tales from BLands have the best models made using the Telltale tool?
I know it sounds weird but I really liked the character models a lot more than their previous games.

They actually made a point of saying this wasn't the case in the GB Quicklook for this. Which I thought was funny, since you always see the characters together and they really, really don't look like they could be the same person.

Is this such a common trope it needs to be addressed up front? I feel like I've missed something.

In the Giant Bomb Quick Look, they were joking that it might be a Fight Club situation with the twins, which would be pretty amusing.

I actually almost kind of want to play this one. Not enough to buy it for full price, and I don't really want to play it on Uplay though, but maybe when it gets really cheap. It's been a few years since I've played a checklist set in a historic city that I can climb around, so I might be ready for another one of those.

i mean, i think the ass games aren't that bad if u take them for what they are. the problem is not letting urself fall down the ocd rabbit hole. just do the story, goof around a bit, enjoy the very expensive recreation of random cities and move on

GoT has better production values, but the realistic-ish artstyle they chose does not help the visuals at all. So, yeah, Tales From the Borderlands wins by default; it's basically Walking Dead's artstyle but a little cartoony exaggerated/cartoony.

According to someone on the Steam forum, apparently it requires you to use Japanese locale just to play it. That's pretty incompetent. Sounds like KT level of incompetence.

I'm only a couple hours in, but I'm definitely enjoying Tales from the Borderlands so far, its nice to play the formula (I've done Walking Dead 1/2 and The Wolf Among Us so far) in something more upbeat. Playing Alan Wake. Pretty darn good so far.

One of the first games in my backlog of 100+ games I have yet to play in my library. Going in alphabetical order top to bottom.

Firefox users: Mozilla recently announced that they are working on supporting Chrome extensions in a future version of Firefox, and I have continued testing Enhanced Steam with the nightly version of Firefox. I'm happy to report that testing is going well, but the new Firefox build isn't quite ready yet for release. I'll keep you all posted as progress is made.

The PC version didn't have a release date when the game was announced. The delay won't bother me if Ubi continues to work on the PC version across the next few weeks (the Steam version was last fiddled with yesterday).
