the idea of getting a random box of cool stuff is nice but "anime" or "geek culture" is so broad that the risk of just getting ur appartment filled with crap u don't care about is too high
Well the week from hell is finally over and not content with trying to melt my PC the other day I thought I'd have another stab at pushing the boundary's of memory to their very limits.
Not the most stable experiences in the world (managed 1 shot of GTAV before the walls came tumbling down but about 3 textures loaded) but it's not like you need more than 1-2 fps to take a screenshot.

Games are weird... playing Witcher 3 and Geralt, all that he has done, all that he has killed, still can be killed by a random Bandit in the woods, because level... how does not that group of bandits totally rule the world?

Now there's a mobile authenticator for Steam. It makes sense but it's kind of annoying.
I'm sure Kiev are the kind of studio in stead of nagging you everytime a problem comes up they just do a lot in one big list. Bastards!

Boy does Unity look glorious. The environment. Human models look very different weirdly and kind of don't fit the environmental fidelity.
Hm, I saw so much eyecandy from Unity, totally curious how much I'll enjoy AssCrud series once I start it from AC1 @_@

Yeah some of the NPCs weren't at the front of the queue when good looks were being handed out.
Apart from a few bum textures here and there and some very obvious shadow quality scaling AssCreed 1 can scrub up alright. SGSSAA and HBAO+ as easy to inject to give it a little pep and if ruining the artists' vision is your thing then I guess you can monkey around with SweetFX/Reshade to your hearts content.
II still has a few LOD peculiarities with environments and NPCs so you need to be mindful when composing but Brohood can look alright. Haven't been back to Rev in ages so no idea but AC III has awesome character models and some environments look good but the longer the draw distance the more rough things appear. Black Flag can be a looker but Rogue really looks low budget no matter what you do.

Galak-Z isn't a pure roguelike, right? I mean, after you finish the season that's it right? Or is it like Isaac where you can continuously play and keep unlocking stuff?

Yeah. Even Rogue had one. Ubi's good about that. Regardless of what happens, it's no skin off my nose now that I have a modern internet connection. Even a 50GB download would take me only a bit over an hour instead of a bit over a day. Do your worst, Bethesda!
