Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the capability to make the world's first enhanced store. Steam will be that store. Better than it was before.
Holy shit guys, the Space Quest Collection is on sale for the first time in years.
I really hope that they changed/vastly improved the Ubisoft formula to open world games with that Ice Age Far Cry because even though I mostly enjoyed FC4 as the better version of FC3 I definitely would not want to play a total conversion of a game that felt like an updated version of the game before. Even as someone who isn't really overexposed to these kind of games because I don't play Assassins Creed at all the design is so heavily based on a limited set of repetitive tasks (or better chores) that the thought of climbing towers or liberating outposts over and over again just doesn't do it for me a third time, it barely did the second time.
I'm curious to see it but damn, if it is just the same again in a "cooler" setting then I couldn't possibly fake any interest in it.

It was 75% off in an Activision sale not long ago as well
I gifted them to a friend for that price the 30th of april, but yeah.
Also, steam is finally connecting again.

Fucking hell. You guys wouldn't believe how much time I spent playing Space Quest VI back in the day. I had bought a boxed copy at a BiWay and played the hell out of that. Experienced the critical save bug, and got freaked out by the final setpiece in some guy's intestinal tract.
Still a hell of a series (and game 2,300 to boot!).

True, the demo probably helped as well. The "getting trucks through mud simulator" genre is pretty niche though. Hope the update and wrapping the license bullshit up will breathe new life into the game, the mod scene looks pretty interesting. I think someone made a working tracked vehicle.

like, i can understand if you payed like 200 bucks or something, but for the most people that pay the bare minimum to get the game, i put like 20 bucks down, i can't really find myself outraged if it doesn't pan out, specially if i feel there was no bad intent on their part (which is what i feel is happening with project phoenix, just prolongued dumbness)
but like, it's like two years later, i put down like 20 bucks, if it doesn't work out then c'est la vie, it would've been awesome if it did because the concept was great, but i don't know where people get the energy to be pissed off at everything

As much as I like Sunrider: Mask of Arcadius and that I am excited for the next episode, I cannot in good faith let someone else buy this dating sim for any more than 5$ (asking 30$ is crazy - even at 50% off it's way too much).

Remember to always use your bombs to blow up those moving blocks that try to crush you. They are too much of a headache. Get rid of em.
