The top game on my wishlist.
The AMD one is just too accurate.
Voted but haven't submitted. Just in case.

They did it last year too, giving away for free Mafia 2, Civ 5 and another game I can't remember.
Ah, that pic confused me. It was relevant 4 years ago. 4xx Fermi cards and AMD just few years ago.
I've had several Radeon cards catch fire BITD.
Have yet to have an Nvidia card try to burn my home to the ground.

cool, so how does that tie in with voting/submitting? How do you get the giveaways?
edit: knowing GMG it will probably be borderlands, civ 3 and l4d2
Also I wasn't actually sleeping when 'it' happened but playing Wolfenstein:TNO which is a pretty fucking great game, feels like one of the good old, singleplayer focused shooters from the 90s/00s.
The NV one too, only graphics cards that died on me were from them. *g*
Whoa. Sounds like what happened to my friend's nVidia card when they had that driver snafu that was frying cards.
Sims 3 on steam? If so, whats the key price?
Thanks

That was a cancellation purported by a site that used false names and cited another site that didn't exist until after the article started doing the rounds (said source now hosts a fake "Hacked by 4chan" page), in what was clearly a last-ditch attempt to make the claims seem legitimate.
Better off waiting on a sale.
This was about a decade ago mind you. I'm talking 9600XT vintage.
Those piddly little fans on them loved to seize up and then it was burn baby burn.
I bought it straight away. The original Hexcells was too easy, the second one really got it going with some great challenge that was all logically solvable but damn tricky later on. So far the new one is doing excellently. Same difficulty curve as the second, but the infinity mode I have yet to try, is basically a random generator for making new puzzles.

i'm kinda sad that Assassins Creed Rogue isn't coming to PC.

"not yet".
I guess it will come. I mean even the PSP game is on PC.

That's what happened to my 9700 Pro, sadly. It didn't do anything flashy like catch fire, but the fan died in the middle of Unreal Tournament and next thing I know the screen went all funky, followed by a hot smell. Shut the computer off ASAP to no avail, my poor trooper was dead.
Vita game. We never got the PSP game.
i've seen some interview where they said they got a lot of request for PC port and they will look into it - and IMO they'll do current gen + PC port early next year anywayi'm kinda sad that Assassins Creed Rogue isn't coming to PC.

I was mostly concerned by the fact I had been putting 9600XT cards into a lot of PC's I had built for friends and family at the time. Kind of funny ringing a person up and saying "Yo, has that PC I did for you caught on fire yet?"

Please stay strong my good man.

A western publisher saying something along those lines almost always means "That's the plan, but we don't want to talk about it yet." Conversely, the same words from a Japanese publisher typically means "We hear you, but it's not going to happen."

Firstly, we are incredibly proud of the reception the game received at E3 and it has been amazing to see how the fans have responded. We designed The Division with the next generation of consoles in mind; however, we are not ruling out any platforms in the future.
You asked for it (at least judging from the hundreds of comments on this UbiBlog post when the game was first revealed and the thousands of comments on Facebook, Twitter and elsewhere). And now Ubisoft is delivering. Today, Ubisoft confirmed that along with the previously announced PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions, Tom Clancys The Division will be available on PC as well.
To clarify that giveaway above: Duplicity isn't a Steam key (it hasn't been greenlit yet), however the game's $19 on Desura, so it's worth snapping up for the inevitable Steam release.
Uh, yeah. I would imagine that would be a concern. Did anyone else's catch fire?
Japanese "We will look into it" is the worst really. "If the demand is high, we will release it on PC."
How can they see how big the demand is?
So transparent.
