Finally.
BL2 GOTY does not have all DLC? Huh. I should have checked before buying, hah.
was Endless Legend the ign free game? And how trustworthy are key trades via steam? Someone is offering the game for 2k.

Never trade a serial key for keys, because if something goes bad, you've lost your money.
check the traders steamrep
Key trades are risky since you don't really have anything to fall back on -- you can do a two-way trade (e.g. you give him the TF2 keys and he throws in a coupon), but there are no guarantees that Valve will help you if he just runs off without handing over what he promised, and if you pay via PayPal then you're at the mercy of eBay's notoriously crummy customer service. If the person doesn't have the stats to suggest legitimacy (a reasonably old account, at least several paid games, and some sort of sizeable rep database) then I'd err on the side of caution and steer clear.
GMG are giving free copies of Xcom Enemy Unknown away for voting in a best games survey.
I voted by umm there was no mention of the Playfire linkage (which I had done in the past anyway...). It forced me to make a new account. oh well
...As part of the process you will be asked to connect your Steam and Playfire profiles so you need to have a valid Steam account to participate and become part of Playfire Rewards to be eligible for a free copy of the game!
Just got a notice from the Steam market that I need to provide tax payer info (153 items listed this year). Has anyone who sold over 200 items ever received any documents or messages from valve about that stuff?

Awww yeah. Day One, baby, Day One.
Euro Truck Simulator Gold Bundle worth it? I think the game was in a regular bundle some time ago wasn't it?

He seems legit, 2k+ games, clean steamrep, +108rep on steamtrades, and a Canadian
Before you head off and cast your votes, here are the super important bullet points:
All voters (including existing voters) will be able to claim their free copy once voting has ended.
Voters will be directed to the free game giveaway site and from the 23rd of October using the email address you voted with, you will need to sign-up to Playfire (and link to Steam) in order to receive a verification email and game code.
The offer is "while stock lasts" and you'll have to be over 18 to claim.
Regular CVG readers will remember that last year this promotion nuked our servers from orbit. We've significantly increased our infrastructure since then, but please bear with us if you experience any problems.
RULES OF NATURE!

Reminds me of the prerendered adventures from the 90s.
Rhaknar will be glad to know the RPS impressions on More doors got edited =p
I know nothing about the show but its Platinum and they have yet to let me down. As long its fun they'll get my money.
I think it's a steal at that price.
Great introduction/gateway drug to the vehicle sim genre.
Hell yeah it's worth it, especially if you like driving games. It was my favorite game of last year, I now have over 80 hours played on it.
Why before January?
too little too late ... the damage has already been done
You can't repair a broken heart~
Acti's financial year follows that of the calendar and so every January it voluntarily ditches any licences it doesn't feel are worth keeping.
2013: James Bond (valid until 2014) and Blur's vehicle licences (valid until ????)
2014: Marvel (valid until 2017) with the exception of Spider-Man due to its agreement with Sony to develop a tie-in to TASM 2 (and presumably also TASM 3)
So there is a risk that Korra will get removed in few months?
Witcher marathon finished. What to do next SteamGAF? Mass Effect marathon (i finished ME1 and started ME2 couple months ago)?
Just bought Defense Grid 2 for cheap, can't wait to jump into it! I never actually played Warcraft or Starcraft except when it came to tower defense games. :3
No, there's no way in hell Nickoledeon contracted Platinum for a game that's only going to be on sale for 2 months. Jase is high on koala juice again. So there is a risk that Korra will get removed in few months?
I've just finished a very busy month and opened up Steam to catch up on playing some games, but I found a lot of my games previously installed games now suddenly uninstalled that I don't remember deleting. Has steam added some sort of automatic fridge cleaning feature, or am I just going crazy?

One of the games I really wantSame could be said about Deadpool.
Now this makes sense. To be sure I made my CVG account with the same email as my Playfire one though. Thanks for clearing up.Seems that you get an email after the fact, according to CVG
Now this is a problem. I only buy heavily discounted old titles :/yes
Deadpool was only around for about 6 months before they pulled it
I never understood the allure or even gameplay. If for example you have a "level" where you drive your truck from Amsterdam to Rome, is it a shortened version or is the level actually hundreds of km?Euro Truck Simulator Gold Bundle worth it? I think the game was in a regular bundle some time ago wasn't it?
But I don't have a wheel, can you still play the game using a controller?
