Ubisoft needs to calm the fuck down with the pricing, it's not a race, the first publisher to reach the most ridiculous price point wins nothing.

will the Chrome extension update itself or how does that work? I usually never use extensions so I don't know.

$70? With conversion, that's about the same as what console gamers in Brazil pay per game since 7th gen.

Most of PC games, on the other hand, are half that price! (But Ubi games are $50 on Steam)

I'll admit, I got a chuckle out of the Gone Home recommendation (probably 'coz I'm a bit drunk). I mean it's like, you'll only get stuff like this if you follow it so I don't see it as problematic. I might follow a few troll accounts like this, if they're creative enough

EDIT: It sucks when it's the in the top most voted "helpful" reviews, though -_-. Valve, implement a more involved review voting system, pls

Well, it's not like I was buying games at full price anyway. Besides, if Steam tries to gyp me on price during their next sale, I'll just use the old Hola standby.

Enhanced Steam for Google Chrome has been updated to version 6.7 which has been re-written to accommodate the new Steam store layout. With this update, a majority of the previous functionality Enhanced Steam users have come to know and love has been restored. Here is the official changelog:
  • Added: lots of stuff, basically it supports the new store
  • Updated: almost every existing function to account for the new store
  • Removed: A few things that are no longer required due to the new store
I've tried to bug-test this as thoroughly as time has allowed, but I thought it would be important to get this into people's hands as soon as possible. If you encounter a bug, please let me know.

Version 6.7 for Mozilla Firefox should be ready some time tomorrow unless any major bugs are encountered.

Just beat Murdered Soul Suspect.

I liked what I played but this is one of the few cases where I feel I have to judge the game a bit on what it didn't do rather than what it did. The basic gameplay and finding clues I found enjoyable enough. It's a nice change of pace and a great way to kill a afternoon or evening. It only took me 4 hours to beat. Mainly since I could care less about collectibles which are abundant. If you love achievements this is a easy 100%. Back to the story though, I just felt it was too fast and not enough was built up. You piece together things pretty quick and the twists that are there are so soft they have no impact. Which really takes away from a murder story.
with all that said I would still recommend this in the camp of 5-12 dollars. Mainly to those who want to play something different. Especially since you might not even see the story hang ups like I did and come to enjoy it more.

Thanks again for the gift shadow net I did enjoy it. Just expected more from such a cool concept.

Well shit. The last few collectables bugged out on me on DLC4 for DR3, so I tried to restart from the beginning to collect them all from scratch. Unfortunately, apparently the collectables carry over across playthroughs, so I'm still exactly where I was, unable to get one of the only two achievements left in this game. I guess I should just quit now and just stop wasting any more of my time.

If you really wanted the story to biuld up a little more before the ending, you had to collect the pieces for the murder cases. They tell the story about the city, the people that lived there and even the "modus operandi" of the cases.

A few small things I've noticed;

Not sure if it's a bug but the rounded corners on the DRM warning box looks out of place

And there's a problem with disabling the highlighting functionality, it seems to get rid of the dimming effect even when off.
